    Paulo Dybala has left Juventus, and he will likely join Inter… or will he? Financial issues at Juve’s rival club put his move in jeopardy, leaving Dybala’s career in limbo as the brilliant Argentinian looks to get back to his brilliant best.

    Yeah. Dybala had 3 great seasons and sort of dropped. He became a bit inconsistent. But he sort of revived himself in the 19/20 season. That dybala/cr7 combo was very underrated in my opinion.

    As an Argentine, I can confirm that we had insanely high hopes and expectations for Dybala. I remember in the beginning when he was first exploding and went to Juve we hailed him as the next Messi but that was unfair. His injuries have plagued his career and internationally he has never really taken off. He is unbelievably talented, but I'm not sure if he'll make the world cup roster over say Joaquin Correa etc

      In fact Joaquin Correa should not be anywhere near NT, Angel Correa should take his place. Among forwards Dybala is the best after Messi and Dimaria.

      Would be a mistake for the Albicilestes not to take him to the World Cup if fit.Having a player like him on a team bench is a privilege. Instead of bringing on some no name like Enzo Perez in a past World Cup game to try and be a game changer.

      @@ASAPHMARK J. Correa has been called up to the squad a lot these recent seasons. Not for his goal scoring prowess but for how he serves toward the functionality of the team etc. Messi doesn't press too often and Dybala doesn't either. Doesn't make sense to have two players of similar positions not doing work off the ball. At least that's what I'm seeing when they both have played

    The whole world was revolving around 433. It was killing traditional #10s. Although Dybala is more of a shadow striker (or Trequartista if you want to make it more Italian), when he constantly faces a big and tall DM, he gets into trouble. At the same time, Juventus was testing different ideas to accommodate other players like CR7, his position was basically gone. On top of that he had to deal with injury issues.
    I think he is a player that can shine in La Liga - if he plays with Suarez at Atletico, he can shine. Someone is more than able to play a 352 to fit him in.
    He has 2-3 seasons left to prove himself or he is going to Middle East or MLS to enjoy early retirement
    I see him so much like James Rodriguez. Insanely talented, won trophies. Has a worldclass reputation. But couldn’t find consistency or playing time. Both are #10.

    It is a bit of a shame to see how Dybala's career has gone as he has always been one of my favourite players to watch, so technically gifted and had a beautiful shot on him. I hope he's able to get back to his best while he's still in his prime years

  • @lamp6121
    @lamp6121 Рік тому +8

    Imo the main problem with Dybala was not wanting to move from Juventus, if he had moved to Real Madrid or Barcelona at the right time his present would be totally different, he wasn't fitting into Juve's system anymore and instead of making a move to a club where he would be more fitting and desired, he just wanted to stay at Juve because it was the most comfy option for him, what we say here in Argentina is that the only reason why Dybala isn't a top player anymore is because he never wanted the glory in football, never really cared about making his name bigger or greater, he just wanted to stay at his comfort zone in Italy and play for Juve until the end of his career, not really caring if Juve was the best option for his career or not.

    I can't lie......the Dybala x Vlahovic friendship had me wondering what may have been had they been afforded more time to forge a great partnership (thinking of a son x kane type of great link up) BUT then again that would only be fruitful if Dybala stayed injury free. I think, although this video touches on great points about his inconsistencies, mismanagement in terms of how to fit him into a team, having to step into Ronaldos shadow, etc, etc......there is one thing I think worth mentioning......Juve's 2021/22 season we were plagued with injuries after injuries to so many players that you have to start asking questions of our medical staff, and in doing so, ask how far back their mismanagement of Dybalas injuries goes. Recognising issues and keeping him healthy could also be something they weren't doing correctly

      I feel like Neymar did reach his prime, Neymar towards the end of his Barcelona time just ridiculous, some games he even looked like he could be better than Messi. I think it's just unfortunate that he was always over shadowed by his teammate. He was pretty much a clear 3rd best player itw at that point and if Messi and Ronaldo weren't around at the same time we'd probably have a very different discussion about him.

    • @badasstasticusbadass4908
      @badasstasticusbadass4908 Рік тому +3

      @@charlesfowler4308 Yes, but, as same as with Dybala, we only saw one season of these players were they somewhat reached a stellar performance, is not like other legends like Ronaldinho that reached his prime and won everything at club level, and personal level with the Ballon D'oro, (I would put Kaka there too) and even with the NT. It's kind of funny though, Neymar almost reached his prime, but it was overshadow by Messy and Suarez, while Dybala was overshadow by CR7 when he arrived to Juventus. 11:28 this point here is not true it's just a silly rumor. It was the management who stalled the contract because of the signing of vlahovic in January. Before Vlahovic's arrival everything was set for dybala to renew but the management made silly excuses and suddenly decided to buy vlahovic in the January window, even arrivebene stated in his press conference that they didn't want to disrespect him by offering a low contract so it's best they part ways. So in conclusion they didn't want him anymore it's not his agent or anything and that's the truth.

    Like the words from Beppe, most make sense and seem in line with what we know and saw. Although, I am not so sure at all on the request for a top 5 player salary in the world. Seems a huge change from the potential moves to PL clubs who would have paid him incredibly handsomely and he turned it down as wanted to stay at Juve...Agnelli spoke of a top 20 player contract in May 2021, yet I find this offer hard to believe when most the Man City first XI, some of Liverpool, some of Chelsea, some of United would all be paid much more. Let alone PSG and Real and some other clubs.
    Rumours say Antun could sign. Dybala reacting...but to his agent not signing? That makes no sense. It suggest the management were doing something against him. What that perceived or actual bad situation was, none of us know...but it makes no sense to suggest he wanted to show his disdain for the culb directors because his agent was dragging his heels. Logic sugessts the club had done something wretched.
    Other than which, Dybala outline is in depth and strong. Just uncertainties of the intricacies of the contract discussions and especially the falling out last season.
    A shame he has gone, but I will remembher him fondly. He has long proven one of our strongest attacking talents, often a joy to watch, plays the game seeking and able to produce magic.

Offered a decent, first team offer only for dybala to take it as an insult which confirmed juve's concern. On top of that, dybala did not take a good care of his body. Wasted career. The comfort zone of winning league titles all the time with Juventus, added to being not liked by Messi and buried in the national team(So disconnected from the team, that in an interview in Argentina the guy started speaking italian out of nowhere and after a few seconds he remembered it was a spanish interview LOL) stopped him from becoming a bigger player. Talented fellow, but just went with the flow instead of asserting himself as a leader of the pack.
    He could have gone places, but went too quick to the top and never developed in to the "Jewel" he supposedly was. Imho, Juventus burned him the same way AC Milan burned players like El-Sharawy and Alexandre Pato

    As much as I respect @gjustjuve, I'd have to say his take on this is whack. He spelled out all the issues and then came to the wrong conclusions. Yeah, if you bring in CR7, a player who demands all the glory, then everyone else's out is going to go down. If you bring in a coach (Sarri) who never rotates his squad then people are going to get injured.
    Juve created this situation and are happy to pass on a creative playmaker they shafted. I think this is a sad situation and would lobe to see where the team would be if we hadn't made such poor hires...

      Beautiful comment. Letting him go was a mistake. The team doesn't need to be built around him. He just needs a little accomodation. This season or best attacking performances have come with 4 2 31. Honestly not sure what we just didn't stick with this formation and work with it

      Yep, but the problem is that no matter how many bricks were being thrown at him, Dybala never even tought of leaving Juve, he wanted to stay no matter what, he should've left Juve in 2018/19 at max, when huge teams really wanted him, but he ignored them all and now is sadly paying the price.
      Now the best thing for him would be to take all of this as motivation to prove everyone wrong, join any big enough team that wants him and work his a** off to reach his peak level again, he's still young and can do it, it's all on his hands now.

    It kills me to see Dybala's Juve career not pan out the way we all know it should have. For me, it all came crashing down when Juve got CR7 and killed the momentum and confidence Dybala had built in the previous years as well as the opportunity to have the team built around him. ❤✌

      @@el-youtub3r402 Yup. It was a shortsighted decision that would lift the brand, give Juve exposure, and hopefully be a quick fix to win CL. Long term it decimated Juve’s finances, changed the team mentality from “grinta” to “start power”, and ruined careers for players like Dybala who we told we’d build the team around, and Sandro who went from a top LB that could defend and cross to a demoralized LB that could never join the attack b/c CR7 would never drop back to cover or play defense. Who knows, maybe he could have scored 25 or 30 that year as the main man.

But at Real, Marcelo on the left always had good partnership in attack with him, its even his main trait to be very attacking on that left side. Why couldn’t Sandro do the same as Marcelo with Cristiano? While yes it is Serie A and could be quite different, surely there are tactics to utilise both the players strengths.

      we waited for Del Piero because they were only 2 serious injuries that we hoped he would recover from, and he did (like we are hoping for Chiesa). Dybala is different in that the injuries are MANY. Every few games he gets another small injury and has to miss 4 or 5 games. A serious injury can be operated on and corrected. Injuries like the ones Dybala suffers from, soft tissue injuries, when they become numerous and recurring, it becomes very difficult to rely on that player. It is sad, I was hoping he would return to his best...but it only came in moments...Juve are changing strategy and tactics, which is another reason why it is not a bad decision to let him go, it's hard to find a position for him in our tactics.

    Starting at about 5:30 is crucial to understanding the "drop" in Dybala's career. It was really Juventus fault for signing CR7, not saying they should regret that, but never forget Juve and fans thought they had already won the Champions league with signing cr7(they couldn't even get past round16 for 3 years with him, forget they got to qrt finals for 2 years b4 him). Juve abandoned the Dybala project, and went for instant gratification.
