I think one of my main problems is I lost so many of my songs I think I could have been one of the greats I really think that but getting older made me lose a lot of my drive. I wish there was a like a group for creatives to feed off each other and actually work together. I have a friend and he already has 32 albums or something like that. I've written that amount of songs in my life myself but I lost a lot of them. And then I think I realized something not that long ago I think it was last year. Struggle creates desire to do better, comfort creates complacency. I know for me all I ever wanna do is play my video games and I'm never satisfied. Sometimes it depresses me to think that the hundreds of songs I have on my phone is going to be the only legacy that I could leave on this world. And the thought of them being deleted fills my heart with incredible sadness.
Seek out those friends and collaborators, locally and/or with other ties! We're just starting to work on this kind of a community that you describe, so you (and others) can try us too... Follow your dreams while working through that discomfort (and comfort, as he says at the end. ;)
