Popped up randomly...glad I clicked...UA-cam be knowing
Same
Hard for black boys .. harder for black girls 😢
MaryLou - UA-cam’s algorithm isn’t playing!!!
Same it jus did
Lol more like algorithms be knowing
And to think I almost didn’t click on this video 🔥🔥🔥
Exactly lol I scrolled away from it then came back to watch it since the title reminded me of "For Colored Girls"
Right...it was a good recommendation
Same experience, I accidentally clicked it and was about to return to the video I was watching.. But then the beat absolutely captivated me, so I started to watch the video slowly confirming in my brain that it wasn't a steady image.. Then his flow started and shortly after that my heart was inspired to a higher plateau... Last, I subscribed and restarted the video
Cleon same... definitely made me emotional.

There’s always something quotable every few seconds. That’s how you know it’s an amazing song.
Facts
Are black boys kings too?
Fr, my favourites are "love is free so dont be possessive" , "put away a portion of your profit when u get paid" , "why conform to a society that hates u, spent all they energy tryna break u" and the closing lines 💗
Kotable
Yes! I literally came back to this song to find a quote for my bullet journal.
This is sacred shit, he spits like his possessed by ancestors, his wisdom feels like a million voices speaking through him. Wow! As a young woman I too found healing through this .

The best truthful COMMENT yet!👏🏾

I am an 80s baby (36yrs old) who loved through the golden era of hip hop...and i think i just found a new favorite rapper...
@SouthwestKansasSmoke nah, he loved through that shit
@@willa5551 yes sir that was the only way to make it.
@@cheekypigg What's the point of shaming someone for their age? I understand it's a joke, but we're all getting older, why make a joke at the expense of a stranger who's gonna be you in 10 years? Just food for thought idk
-_- I’m not sure but I think they will be sarcastic. Because of the way the person said they lived through as that was many years ago and 36 years of age is not that old. But I’m not sure. If they meant it that’s funny because they’re a lot of relevant people that are those ages like Beyoncé she’s 37
You're a 90's baby.

You can be white and appericate the message. Hip hop is art and expression. Thats exactly what he is doing
I’m white and I bump this shit daily. I know the exact words don’t exactly apply but I get the message. Shits fire, Kota wise, and I’m just here for the love
thats the most ignorant shit ive ever read on youtube
Wrong wrong wrong nigga u dead wrong!

how is that ignorant? non black people retarded i swear
Cardin Ngo why is that ignorant? The message is clear and beautiful, no doubt about that
I just found this because of luck.
No regrets, pure wisdom in his words.

Offical Narrative Rhetoric, is all Jr is spitting. . These rappers are not saving any children whatsoever. They are being used like pawns to help spread the official narratives organized by secret societee that own the police and own the news and own the money people use.
I agree with it all except the racial propaganda
i fw kota but he didnt really need to make this song, racism is lowkey ending. blacks have come along way bruh they almost in charge of everything what more they want bro?
@@user-3dfhdha24 well yeah, but racism still practically around the world. And I believe this song is for the ones have suffered discrimination n that stuff.

@@ganju_san2675 the moors were still treated badly and faced racism. people don’t need to be saved from their own culture. Forcefully taking a group from where they thrived for themselves and placing them somewhere new to fend for themselves is dangerous. A true message to all white people in America
@K Ts Please don't belittle her for finding his words inspirational. Black people aren't the only ones that face bullshit on the regular. Gays, latinos, Women, Muslims the list goes on.
@@supernatural492 I'm not black American but I am Cameroonian which is one of the many 3rd world black countries in Africa suffering from colonialism. Even though black American history doesn't exactly correlate with me I can understand that you dont solve one issue by setting it behind a line of others and setting it so far back as if everything else is far more important and necessary than what black human beings are going through, black human beings who some actually are women, muslims, homosexuals and even black Latinos. To me they all stand behind the issue society has with black skin not in front.

@@skulrl because slavery will never end even without racism? Slavery is going to be upheld whether it's through classism, racism, the only resolve is a complete societal restructuring, eliminating idealistic beliefs and actually working together, life is too short for us to allow this as our reality and what we remember when we die. by a white cop right? all this white cops killing black kings in chicago..
@@theherbpuffer Then what about the white men? Or people who are beaten to death during these "peaceful protests"? And non of it reaches headlines? The only thing media cares about right now is to report anything that could be even barely put against black people, or anything turned around on its head by black lives matter. What isn't in the news is about how all these people who are painted as innocent, good black men. Sure. They have all been good. But they obviously weren't if you look at the body camera footage. But the second someone defends himself he gets painted as a shooter, and a felon and should be executed. It's sick. And it's all done by black lives matter. This message is for YOU black man.
KOTA, you were given the precious talent to make people feel like you‘re talking to them in person while listening to this beautiful piece of art. This hits deep and i feel your energy, humbleness, truthfulness and kindness.
I don’t belong to the black community, nor do I live in the US, but I know how it feels to be part of a minority group that faced/faces discrimination, violence and humiliation. Eventhough I personally didn‘t experience it that much, I know earlier generations of my community have experienced this kind of ignorance and cruelty.
Throughout my time at University I dealt with the American History and the history of the black community within.
I honestly deeply respect you as people and hope that one day the supremacists will be beaten with their own weapons in every part of this world. I know this is a utopian dream, at least I hope for a better future for humankind.
Keep providing us with this tasty art of yours, brother in humility.
