very well explained! i particularly liked the extra info on how the speed chop works - i've been using audio reactive methods with td for a while now and i still learned a lot from your take on it
Did anyone else have trouble at 9:20 dragging the null3 CHOP into the noise to transform the z value? I was getting an error saying I needed to input a float() value instead of a td.nullCHOP. I fixed this by putting a reference to channel1 of the null into z i.e. op('null3')['chan1']
@@khryzheltan3664 when you drag and drop the Null operator, a window opens with the words "op('null3')", you just replace it with another function: "op('null3')['chan1']"
You can check the absolute beginner tutorial on our channel for a deeper understanding. I think to create fun visuals you don't need too much knowledge, the basics are enough to create a lot.
As a beginner this was an awesome tutorial, thank you so much for this!! One thing i will is my lines are not glowing to my beat like how your lines glow. Any idea why? I followed every step.
Hi ! At 9.19 when you drag and drop the null into the "transform noise" how do you transform as a chop reference ? Is it a right clic to choose "chop reference" ?
internet helped me ! when you clic on the plus, you can see that it is written next to "tz" : op('null3') (or whatever you called your null) --> just add [0] after, and it should work!
Hey, great tutorial! Thanks a lot. I wanted to know how to increase the speed of the movement of the noise?? I tried using a math chop but I don't think its working out
I’m getting a warning that says insufficient number of channels for desired pixel format , I’ve tried changing the pixel format but it’s not working , anyone know how to fix this ?
Great to tutorial! thank you for this, I wanted to ask if you have an idea if how to get the movement more smooth because for the track i used it moves by the kick and it gave a feeling of robot/staccato effect and not smooth any help will be great
I get the error: all OPs must generate the same number of instances. Wasn't able to move from there . Using the free version though does that has something to do with it? Thank you for your tutorials!
Well i exported my TOPs via movie file put node, then change file format to mp4 in parameters of node, ctrl+m and then record on movie file out. Smth like that i guess

Great vid! I duped the Geo opa few times and switched up the RGB usage to have several of them reacting as once in a ball of reactive beauty.

Click in the "+" button in the right bottom. Then just drag and drop, it'll give you the chop reference option

How are you changing the color of the nulls?
Press "c" on your keyboard to open the color palette. Make sure the operator is selected
