What a poignant story. You have received a miracle and a precious gift. I’m so glad to have signed my donor card and hope that it offers hope to someone else down the road.
Thank you Keren for sharing your story and your transplant journey. My mother was a recipient of a liver transplant and our family is so grateful for the added time given to us. Your story reminded me of the wonderful years we had with her; I think of my mom often, and the person who gave her daughters and grand-babies the gift of time. Blessings, Tiff
oh wow Tiff thanks for sharing that, I love hearing those type of stories. I want to reach that age where I see grandbabies, my kids are not married and are still young but I pray for that every day. Sending love and healing blessings your way. thank you for your kind words.
I’m crying, too! By sharing your story, you are part of the bright light at the end of the tunnel. Thank-you for being a voice for positivity and caring.
Thank you so much Phoebe! there is always a light at the end of the tunnel sometimes its very bright sometimes its dim but its there if we continue moving forward. sending love and light to you!
Thank you for sharing such a personal story; I was in tears throughout most of it. As a nurse, I hope it encourages families to have a discussion about organ donation. You never know if or when you may be called upon to make such a decision at such a stressful time, but it does help if you know that your loved one is supportive of organ donation. Many times, several people receive needed organs or tissues from one family’s loss. Many people don’t know this fact, and that might help encourage others who are reluctant to donate. I’m thankful that you were given another chance Keren. The world needs more light from beautiful souls like you.
Keren, all these years, I've heard a little about your story, but never heard it to this detail. Thanks for sharing such an important part of your journey. It's what connects us, right? Life. I'm so thankful that you got through such a tough time, and as a young woman. I'm truly blessed to call you a good friend. This was a beautiful video about hope and deep connection. How inspiring to be given the gift of life, to create a family and continue living, when one soul's life is ending. You most definitely don't take life for granted. Thanks for sharing my sweet friend. Much love. 😘😍🎨
Dearest Ingrid thank you for your beautiful and heartfelt words. they mean so much to me. I appreciate you and your beautiful soul... thank you for being my friend!
Thanks for being so open and reaching out to potential organ donors. So amazing and uplifting. The part about your sister having a fever that evening… the power of prayer ❤️
Thank you so much Kelly yes my other sister was praying as well as she's orthodox and I truly believe that my whole family and friends praying was part of my salvation
So glad you are still with us, Keren. I signed up 30 years ago to be a donar if anything happened to me, because I didn't want others to have to make that decision. I won't be needing anything when I'm gone and if it can help others, why not? Thank you for sharing.
Keren: my story of coarse different but similar in some ways. I was dying and luckily they found a match. I had a double lung transplant 10 years ago. Just 8n time as I probably wouldn't have lived another month. I thank my donor and famiky every day and am so grateful I was able to receive The gift of life. I now am now involved in the organ donor educational I wanted to give back.. Wishing you all the best.
Oh wow Heather, I'm so glad they found a match for you... thank you for sharing your story with me... I'm grateful for my life and for all those lives that have been saved by donors... saving a life is a blessing... a miracle! so glad you have gotten involved with the educational part of organ donation.... thank you!
I'm so terribly sorry Cindy Lou I don't have the right words to comfort you just know that I'm sending love and blessings in this difficult time and may you also find that light to guide you through these difficult times.
God Bless you my friend, your story hit home... I'm not as advanced as you were, but I'm fighting a dreadful RA issue and it is painful and draining .. My husband is on the Donor list and I am thankful he has wanted to do this, sadly I cannot because of multiple health issues. Glad you are still with us *hugs*
Thanks for sharing. Your story made me cry too! I've known people who have gotten transplants, and one who never did. I've had family members who had to make the decision to gift others with their dying loved ones organs. It's so important to spread the message of organ donation! It's the ultimate gift! I love how truly humbled and blessed you seem as you share your personal journey. May you continue to live and thrive!
You are beautiful! As an RN many times I cared for patients who became donors. The selflessness of organ donation is an unbelievable gift. Your life and your creativity honors what others have lost
wow, the nurses in the Donor section of the hospital were some of the most caring ones I've ever met. they were wonderful. You then took care of the live donors like kidney or liver ones. There is a selflessness in that for those that give while they are alive and the families of the ones that didn't make it... saving a life goes high in God's book. thank you so much for your kind words!

When I turned 18, I informed my family that I would prefer to donate my organs if anything happens to me. When I got my driver's license, I made sure to indicate that I want to be an organ donor. (I even insisted that my license be remade one year when they accidentally left it off the printed card. I know that they can check with my family, but that could result in delays when every moment counts.) Organ donation is so important. Thank you for sharing your story.
wow thank you so much. It means a lot to me and many people! not many young adults would think that way but saving a life is the biggest blessing there is.... thank you, thank you
@@KerenTamir I have honestly never understood why anyone would object... But there must be people who do because otherwise transplant lists wouldn't be so long. My sister was actually tested as a living donor for a stranger at one point. I'm not sure I could do that. Probably if I were not a parent.
for some its religious reasons but some just don't like thinking about their death or don't believe it will happen to them. For the families, its a very hard decision to make when they are in distress.

So I understand you completely... I wholeheartedly believe in the power of prayer and I'm so grateful for those who prayed for you and those who prayed for my family. Hashem is good.... Thank you for sharing this. So many emotions as you describe your transplant process. My husband is one year out from a liver transplant. Such a difficult journey. You are doing so great. Transplant is such a miracle.
How brave you are. I am so touched to watch your video and hear your story. I have just found you and started mixed media. Thank you for everything. So happy that you ended up with a family too
Thank you so much Keren for sharing your story. I cried and it helped me realize my own pain. You are such an inspiring person. I made a workhop with you a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. At that moment I didn't knew your story but I felt a big connection with your way of teaching with kindness and respect. Thank you Keren . I wish you health and love. ❤
Thank you so much, Patricia that means a lot to me. The soul pages method that I thought in that workshop can really change our lives. That’s why I want to continue teaching it and why I offer the courses.
Thank you for sharing. My mom died cause she wasn't able to get a liver at all even if there was a donor. She got a bad blood transfusion years ago when I was 7 when she had my sister. The blood was tanted with hepatitis. It didn't effect my mom till many years later. My daughter in law, her father went thru a liver transplant. It is quite a procedure. Know what you mean waiting for that call. He got several calls before they had a match. So glad all is well now, thanks for sharing.and prayers are with you. You are a strong person..take care.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom Laura, I've heard of those bad blood transfusions giving people hepatitis. My mom has a friend who got hep-c that way and only now in her 80's did they find a cure. There's so many lives that can be saved with a donor... thank you for your kind words
Your story comes to me just two weeks after a friends two year old received a liver transplant. I’m glad you were able to have the life and family you dreamed of having. ❤️
Keren, thanks for sharing your beautiful story. I am an organ donor as I always want to give someone else a chance at life if I unexpectedly pass. I can relate so much to your story as I fought cancer in 2014, chemo & radiation, so I know what it is like. Hugs, Lisa
Dear Lisa, thank you so much for being a donor and for your kind words. Cancer is the C word we don't like mentioning in my family so.i understand. Both my sister and mom had it at the same time in 2014 too so I understand your words as I watched them go through it. I'm sorry you had to experience it too. sending love and healthy blessings!
Inspirational & heartwarming story! Bless your heart, I’m happy to know you received that chance in life, God bless your soul. It is always so nice to hear, there is so much kindness from people from around the world. 🙏🏼❤️
Keren, I have so many things going through my mind right now that I can't type that quick to tell you. First, I am crying along with you. Thank God, and I don't say that lightly like some people do. Thank the Almighty Creator God for giving you a second chance. I was very, very close to my grandmother also so that tore at my heart strings. I miss her dearly! Life can throw us many curves and it can seem unbearable but we need to be steadfast and remember...God will NEVER give us more than we can bare. That is a promise from Him to us. He has given you a second chance to live and I can see that you are devoted to showing Him your thanks. Your art and your words show me that every time I watch one of your videos. I am glad that I found your channel and can get inspiration from you. Take care my friend, for you are loved.
thank you so much I wholeheartedly believe that as well. My granmother is no longer with us but I miss her as well. Believe it or not that's not the end of my story and I've wondered if God will Never give me more than I can bare... I search in that belief often as it helps! thank you so so much
I was diagnosed with RA when I was 14. Since my Dad was in Cardiology and my Mom was a Nurse, I wasn’t allowed to take strong medication because they knew the side effects. Naproxen was a newly released prescription and that was the strongest thing I was allowed. I’m so sorry you went through that. You were blessed by an Angel. 🙏🏼
oh wow we didn't know that at the time. Metrotrexate was the one they tried giving me... but by then my liver was already damaged. sorry you had to go through that. sending love and blessings!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It has always bothered me that my son died so quickly that he was not able to be an organ donor. I would have donated everything possible so that he could have lived on in someone else. I will be an organ donor when I die if possible and my driver's license has donor on it...much love to you my dear friend.🥰❤❤❤
Dearest Terri, I have no words, I just can't put how I feel into words that will make what you've been through conceivable... even though I know it happened. Your words bring tears to my eyes. I never saw it in that way that your son could have lived in someone elses body.. I understand... sending love
Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life . I am a registered organ donor . Much love and light to you and to the family that said yes so we may have you here today sharing your beautiful gift .
God is so good. It's great to remember to be kind. and I guess we always pray in the way that our compassion drives us at that moment. I think that's why God honours that prayer, We pray selflessly and with great sincerity. You remind me of some of my family to look at :) thank you so much for sharing your story.
Sorry to hear that, it is a story that often happens and its so stressful for everyone involved. Have you heard of organizations that do a kidney donor chain or a kidney transplant circle. so for example, you're not a match for him but you're match for someone else and they're a match for another person until the circle gets closed and one of the other family members is a match for your brother. not sure if its something you could do but thought I'd mention it as its specifically for kidneys as people have 2 of them and can live with one.
How wonderful to have a donor 🌈🌈💖💖 what a blessed story ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I have "donor" on my driver's license in case of my death, I hope to help others. Much love to you 🌈🌈🌈🌈

@@KerenTamir you are more than welcome 💕 I am glad it helps 💕
What a beautiful story.

Thank you for sharing this. So many emotions as you describe your transplant process. My husband is one year out from a liver transplant. Such a difficult journey. You are doing so great. Transplant is such a miracle.
Thank you so much Lori! wishing your husband a long and healthy life!!
How brave you are. I am so touched to watch your video and hear your story. I have just found you and started mixed media. Thank you for everything. So happy that you ended up with a family too

thank you for your kind words Sherry! it means a lot to me!
Thank you for sharing a difficult part of your life with us and un abrazo fuerte...
Thank you so much, gracias!
You are precious, Keren. I love you! ❤️
thank you so much Kimerly and you as well!
Keren, I'm so thankful I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story and in-depth journey. You are such an inspiration!
Oh Carolyn thank you so much! it means a lot to me!
Your story comes to me just two weeks after a friends two year old received a liver transplant. I’m glad you were able to have the life and family you dreamed of having. ❤️
oh wow I'm so glad that two year old received it... praying for them. and thank you for your well wishes.
Hello Keren, what a brave woman you are to tell us this. hug.
thank you Yolanda, I believe we are all brave when we need to... thank you for listening
@@KerenTamir 😊
Inspirational & heartwarming story! Bless your heart, I’m happy to know you received that chance in life, God bless your soul. It is always so nice to hear, there is so much kindness from people from around the world. 🙏🏼❤️

God bless you! Thank you for sharing your testimony. 🙏🏻🤗🕊🧡
thank you for listening!
You are such a brave and beautiful person ❤
thank you!! you too
Keren, I have so many things going through my mind right now that I can't type that quick to tell you.
I search in that belief often as it helps! thank you so so much
Thank you for your story. 🤗❤
Thanks for listening!
What a wonderfull testimony...praise God
amen!
Being a donor is a wonderful thing. I have worked in the health industry and witnessed the gift of life that donors give to others
thank you so much, you're absolutely right!
@@KerenTamir thank you my dear friend. Your kinds words are always such a blessing. Much love to you ❤
Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life . I am a registered organ donor . Much love and light to you and to the family that said yes so we may have you here today sharing your beautiful gift .
thank you Deborah for being a registered donor. it means a lot... and sending love and light to you as well and many healthy blessings
You are so strong and brave, you are one of my heroines.
Thank you so much dear Cheryl I appreciate you
@@KerenTamir thank you.
That means a lot to me, I consider you one of my friends.
God is so good. It's great to remember to be kind. and I guess we always pray in the way that our compassion drives us at that moment. I think that's why God honours that prayer, We pray selflessly and with great sincerity. You remind me of some of my family to look at :) thank you so much for sharing your story.
yes God is good and so are the beautiful humans he created like you! thank you
Thank you for sharing your story. My brother needs a kidney and it's been a very long hard road waiting for him.
Sending you a big HUG!!! ❤ I have I'm an organ donor on my drivers license.
thank you so much Marisol! gracias amiga1

I'm sad to unfollow, because I really like your mixed media videos. But for someone who themselves suffer from depression, the never ending negative stories is just too much to handle 🤷♀️
I understand Tina, although this is also a story of hope that we can overcome the suffering and pain. So far telling my story has helped so many people open up about their struggles and to help them feel they're not alone.... I'm sorry to see you go but my story is part of me and part of my art and my channel.... wishing you love and blessings and may you find the light as well!
Who cares? YAWN… Old news… So many sob stories and playing the victim… The world sucks enough as it is… Unsubbed…
Clearly you didn't watch the video. Someone sharing a journey and the gift of life to deeper connect with her audience is a brave thing. I'm sad you feel the need to make someone feel bad, at any point, let alone on such a personal video. No worries - we're all staying subscribed. Hope you find what you're looking for in content.
