- It started as a neck massage.
Oscar is a year old now. When I found him he was abandoned and had to be bottle fed. He was so very sick with upper respiratory as well as eye infections, it took lots of time, meds, and trips to the vet to get him on the right track. Today he's fat, happy, neutered and the most lovable galoot I've ever had to pleasure of being owned by. He LOVES to play fetch, lay on my face, kerplop anywhere, anytime as if he were the king of the household. He's the closest thing to a baby tiger I'll ever have with his huge paws and big old head. He also loves to bite noses, toes and fingers out of the blue. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

My cat does the same. He just has to bite my nose. It makes no sense. He isn't aggressive at all but just has a thing for my nose.

Haha this reminds me of when I was younger, when time for bed I would go upstairs and right away my cat would come running up the steps and be all affectionate with me. Id lay down and he would be purring rubbing up against me and suddenly he would take a bite at my nose! So funny.

My juniper turns 1 Year old today and when she’s being lovey like this every once and awhile she’ll try to stick her nose in my nostril then lightly try to bite it it’s a little weird but still adorable

I wish this video had more views! it's adorable to watch, and I also have a cat that does this to me. she comes up to me purring I pet her and scratch behind her ears and rub her back. when I stop she bites my nose and that will repeat a few times. also sometimes in the middle of the night, (about once a week) she comes into my bed purring and kneading the blanket where my leg is, while I'm asleep when she wakes me up with a nose bite. if I ignore her and try to go back to sleep she will stand on my chest and wait about 30 seconds before doing it again she has done it about 5 times in a row once. I wish I knew why. I know she is not hungry I promise that isn't the reason. I guess its called a love bite however I want a more in-depth detailed answer as to why.
My cat bites eyebrows. Sometimes he'll sit on my chest and fall asleep while biting me.
The detailed answer is literally it is a love bite. Cats give a gentle nib when they're overexicted/ really like you're company. If it's a strong, painful bite it might be a dominance thing, but since a cat can rip a human nose off with it's bite, it's almost certainly a love bite.
Thank God cat bites are harmless. My Abi is a biter, too. Lucky for me, he's not a scratcher.

my cat does this actually pretty painful thing where he does the rubbing his face against you but with his fang showing...but he'll do that against my chin. and then he nibbles it. and im like dude that hurts. i love you. but that hurts. lmao

They were rescues and apparently got sick from a sick mamma or another sick kitty. They're all well now. :)
