Hi Dr. Donnally, I am 1 week post ACDF. I feel great! Thank you for being such an awesome surgeon and human being!! I look forward to seeing you in about 8 weeks.
Oh my goodness, if any of these would help me I'd be delighted. Going in and getting out the part pressing on the nerve and then go home! Wow, you are more advanced than my surgeon apparently!! It's awful with both feet numb. I fear falling all the time and I try to be so careful. Sometimes you feel like your feet are slipping when they are not. Waking up in the morning I feel like I have on heavy boots. Can't walk very far at all without having to sit. Terrible. Bet your patients are so thankful to have you!!
We are truly sorry that our office staff didn’t provide you the service we expect from each other! We will continue to make sure every experience is friendly. We can’t comment on patient specifics but understand you are very frustrated the surgery you had also wasn’t able to fully restore your quality of life. Thank you for helping us reflect on tough cases 🤲 • Dr Donnally and Texas Spine Consultants Well, lets Telemed! Email insurance info! THEN mail or upload MRI & X-RAYs from within 1yr. See my bio more info! Sorry, no Medicaid. Email: Spine@TSCspine.com - ua-cam.com/video/HpKOfI_1FSs/v-deo.html Need CD 💿 of X-Rays & MRI. On top of my website (in bio) is link to upload images, FROM YOUR HOME! 🤯🥰 Sorry, no Medicaid. Please email: Spine@TSCspine.com - ua-cam.com/video/HpKOfI_1FSs/v-deo.html Hey there, Dr. Donnally does about 15 new patient telemedicines💻 every week. Here is the best path forward: 1- email your insurance card to Spine@TSCspine.com (We can’t take Medicaid. Private pay is sometimes an option, unless Medicaid) 2- if we take that insurance THEN upload your images to my portal for your 1st visit. (The only HMO we take is BCBS). 3- I must have X-rays and MRI, X-rays are critical! “Just” MRI isn’t enough and is a misuse of your time. It needs to be from last 12 months. Nothing older is needed or wanted. Cant stress this enough, must have BOTH: x rays and MRI. 4- You need to get your CD of your X-ray and MRI (imaging centers will NEVER send them to us) 5- On the top of my website (www.DonnallySpine.com) is the link to UPLOAD images, from YOUR HOME! 🥰(or at a CVS with Physician LookUp Code k5037438) 6- To recap: email us, get CDs, THEN upload! This was an extremely informative video and helped to reduce some of my anxieties surrounding spine surgery, so thank you for making it. I listen to your videos often and your delivery really makes me feel comfortable about seeking further assistance for my sciatic nerve impingement issues… without fear . Thank you again
Great video, thank you. But the big question is how to find a capable doctor. Someone as knowledgeable as you, as caring as you, someone who actually listens to the patient. Not someone who has their head burried in there notes and runs out of the room in 5 minutes, And someone who doesn't talk down to the patient. Someone who actually looks for the problem and not a cookie cutter.
@alcory332 im sorry about your experiences. I totally get it . I’ve been all over the country and did your research for you . Been a nurse a long time . Make it happen . Get to Dallas and see . Him .
@DonnallySpineConsult Is this new technology work to help with scoliosis? Instead of using titanium rods. I need a third-time surgery and have been waiting and looking for a good Dr. I'm scared.
Doc, I have been binge-watching your videos! They've given me some much-needed reassurance. I'll be going into my first meeting soon to discuss surgery options following my MRI results, which show an L5-S1 disc extrusion.

Great video! I just had C5-6 ACDF. I asked my surgeon (VERY experienced) about Disc Replacement and he was not a fan of that idea for me at least...I've read this has to do with patients having facet arthrosis (which I have) and other issues...is this always the case? Anything to stop the pain and weakness but the disc replacement looks a lot cooler! BTW: I'm a video editor and I saw that you do your own videos! Impressive that you are able to do a good job with all the work you do!
A lot here! Yes thanks, this video took me FOREVER. Painful. But yes 1 level ACDFs do fantastic. So do CDAs. Too many patients delay their care or avoid treatment because they’re so focused on getting a replacement, when it’s not great for their case. Glad you trusted yourself and got it over with and r better
What if someone if someone is getting 3 disc replacements for C4-C5-C6, and that person is in their early 40s. Would that person be sent home same day?
Fantastic 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 So we'll Presented and put together. Keep safe""",,, and keep up your Great work. Cheers Mate Andre Georgescu of South Australia...😷👏👏👏💯💯💯 👌👌👌👌👌. I wish. 🙏🙏🙏👍🕊
As an international patient from the Caribbean, I am curious as to whether a person can also travel after outpatient surgery or do you recommend that they stay in Texas for a few days even if not in the hospital…???
Hello doctor, I have the problem of diffuse disc bulge at C3-C4 indenting thecal sac without neurol compression since February 2021 and I have taken medicine from a spine and brain surgeon for seven months in 2023 but I'm feeling the pain again when I lifted some weight on my neck and after that I had also taken medicine for 3 months more I want to know doctor can my problem has a permanent treatment.
An you please review the hospitals and outpatient centers you choose and why . The staffing , the nurses , nosocomial and sentinel event history . How you chose or choose the hospitals and why . Thanks
Brian, you keep asking that. I’m not about to make a video that will take hours and hours of edits just to review the hospitals I use, the staff I work with and why. If you talk w me in person I’d be happy to share, but that’s at least 30 hours of video editing I’m not too interested in doing. These r hard to make and edit my friend. Let’s talk in the office
Will adjacent level syndrome be able to be done with minimally invasive surgery? I’ve already had 2 levels repaired in one surgery and I think I’ll need another 2 at some point as well. Can you have minimally invasive surgery after 2 open fusions
Well done video. Clear and concise. I have both cervical and lumbar concerns. I've been told I should have a four level ACDF. I do have radiculopathy in both arms, but strength testing is still good. I walk and/or hike all the time. I'm wondering if it is acceptable practice to look into a foraminotomy instead of ACDF to avoid fusion and just take care of the radiculopathy. Question: Is it possible to have both foraminotomy and microdiscectomy performed to avoid ACDF? I'm really concerned about adjacent level disease and trachea/esophagus problems with a four level procedure. I'd really love to be able to have something done endoscopically instead. is this even a realistic possibility? I know you need to actually see imaging and evaluate me. But, in general what are your thoughts?
I just had an anteror cervical fusion 4,5,6. Much pain relief. But I have dextroscolosis of the lower back. The neurosurgon that done the fusion said I would have to go to a specialist that does scoliosis surgery. I am seventy, and L 3 vertebrae is rotated to the right. That is depressing.

Definitely
