I've had mine now for a few months basically the second they came out I hit that order button and it's a lights out shooter. FYI, if anyone's looking for a good slug for it try the Griffin air guns 35 grain hollow point slugs. I know 35 grains sounds like it would be too small or light for the caliber but its still a full size 30 caliber slug because he utilizes a polymer bead inside the hollow point cavity and I'm telling you they shoot like a laser at over 950fps out of the jts airracuda Max .30. I've been stacking them on top of each other from 125 meters especially once I added the new moderator adapter by donnyfl that centralizes the barrel with my altaros moderator with an integral muzzle brake that strips the air and completely negates turbulence at the muzzle all that with the airracuda and youll have the perfect combo for a moderately priced tack driver.
Great job Nate. You should ask Travis Whitney for a full selection of JTS pellets to review and use. They are superb. This is another excellent regulated air rifle for under 5 Benjamins. Unless you are shooting competition targets. No reason to spend over 1k for any air rifle now days.

Just ordered one today from PA in .30 because at the price point on this .30 cal regulated wood stock gun for sub$500 actually $449 i think , i couldnt overlook it any longer.
Some of these barrels that are not as famous as Walther shoot really well is there a lot of difference between guns own barrels as to ones they buy in from well know names or is it just your amazing shooting skills :) ?
Im about to pull the trigger on my first PCP. Can't decide between the Gauntlet SL30 or the JST Airacuda Max as i have had no experience with either. Primary use would be coyote eradication. Any suggestions? Thanks Nate.
The gauntlet has more power, but is longer and probably heavier sitting at 47 inches in length. I’d prefer the jts aircuda but I’m also primarily a bench shooter. I don’t think you could go wrong with either
At 64 yards I was able to stack 7 shots first day with it. 3 mags in with the dead center pellets. The gun is great and so is the compressor.

I have this air rifle. Shooting the jts dead center pellets. Zero at 50yd. It has a 12 inch drop out to 100yd. Fun bench rifle for sure👍🏼

Everything I hear is that is really good out of the box but I guess we'll have to wait and see about dependability over time.
