ATLUTD supporter here, bummed about another disappointing season, but grateful for the class of Josef Martinez. He might’ve gotten done dirty by management, but he still has the love of the crowd.
I had a blast watching, Atlanta United fans are just incredible. It was music to my ears hearing the chants and that goal celebration from the fans after Atlanta scored was amazing. It was my first time at a football game too and it was the best experience I could ever have.
We typically don't have midweek games in Atlanta anymore. Our fans only know how to attend Saturday or Sunday games. The upcoming Saturday game against New York Red Bulls will have the typical attendance of well over 40k fans almost guaranteed.
You should go to Europe football games, you probably die, when will you see for example Partizan vs Crvena, you will literally die. Football in the USA and Canada, just a kindergarten

Why is Miranchuk taking corner kicks? He is taller than many opposing players. He and Gregerson should always be in the box for a header rather than taking the kicks. Lennon should be designated corner taker. He has the ability to put in a great cross.
Once we sold Almada, Giakoumakis, and Wiley I dismissed any chance at the MLS Championship and now it's about having fun and waiting for the big moves in the off-season.

NEVER! The owner is Fully Vested in Atlanta. He owns Atl Utd , the Falcons and The BENZ STADIUM. Had it custom built and Atlanta is the biggest Northern type market in the South.
This is a midweek game and our fans rarely show up to them. We get our attendance on weekends. I didn't go to this game (work) but I'll be at the Saturday game and so will 40k plus as usual.
Atlanta has by far the highest average attendance every year, even this year with Messi at Miami, and it's not even close. 1.Atlanta 47k 2. Charlotte 35k ... 17. Miami 20k Why would the best performing team attendance-wise leave their market?
