Until he loses and then many people will be looking to fire him - again. They won't care about integrity. I swear we've got a few die hard folks in this comment section who would love to see him gone just so we can turn into Nebraska. And I don't mean volleyball. Then it will give them something else to complain about. SMU is a good team and if PSU doesn't bring its "A" game they could lose. Beau was a key part of the "A" game.
@@drunkpiece2522 Everyone should support his decision, and hope that he finds success wherever he goes. The CFB transfer rules really left him with no choice. It would be impossible for him to properly visit other schools to assess his options at the same time that he is practicing for, and participating in, the CFP. We could be playing for another month if we make it to the final.
@zachzekis "Don't know ball" is for people who don't understand the game of football or life but want to sound like they know what they're talking about.
I must not understand...why didnt he stay on for the playoffs then leave the team? Isn't this what the SMU backup QB decided to do? I do wish him the best of luck next year wherever he goes, but I would think if he valued his teammates, the coaches, and the school, he would have stayed. This puts PSU at a huge disadvantage should Allar get hurt. Am I wrong in thinking this?
He could stay on and enter the portal later, but by that time, other schools will have found other QBs who entered early. Teams aren't gonna wait for a month, and he'd be up against the clock getting into another school to be enrolled for Spring classes.
Generational? Kid has a nice arm but reminds me of Tony Pike at Cincy. Really tall and skinny. We needs to add weight. You have to run the football in BT. Can't sit back all day. Drew learned that as well.
Press Conference number 72 of petitioning for the firing of Jimmy "I don't call the plays" Franklin. Also, good thing Beau is gone cause the gadget plays hurt us more than they help.
@lvli044 Awesome. So then the Beau packages were a net negative. Thanks for not disproving my point. But it's also not that modern. If it was, more than 2 top 25 teams would use it.

Man is it nice to have a coach with integrity.

@drunkpiece2522 Ditto. Glad he's our coach.
He nailed it, I feel for Beau and our team with this situation.
Thanks Beau and once again Screw the NCAA.
Love James Franklin. Everyone who has beef with him needs to come through me first 😤😂
facts. the only people who want him fired are casuals who don’t know ball
Damn straight! Been going to war for Franklin in comment sections for years 🤣

Franklin stated that staying on was the original plan but he couldn't execute his responsibilities on the team and be a free agent QB.

it’s not his fault. the ncaa calendar was made poorly
The TV Networks run College Football Football right now, which an NFL Executive needs to run College Football as a Commissioner.
Not Franklin throwing shade at Wormley like that 🤣
👍👍👍👍
Smu smu smu!!
Ethan and Jaxon are screwed too. They will be next to transfer. Bekkam coming in next season is a generational talent

Franklin should be in jail for what he did to the young women in Nashville

The zone read and RPOs aren't "gadget plays"
@lvli044 When they put him in specially for those plays, yes, he is.
@egorgiawireless3954 not really, no. Gadget play is also becoming an archaic term. What you're seeing is a modern offense.
