Let's Organize! Vintage Photos

This is the last leg of my organization project! I have accumulated a massive collection of vintage and antique photos, so in this video, I am going through them to decide which ones I will put in bundles in my shop. I'll also show you the categories I have them organized into.

Just a thought - maybe you could take 5-7 or so of your favorite cabinet cards/photos and create a special arrangement to hang on your wall - you could individually frame each one or if you're willing to glue them down, you could decorate/collage a canvas, then arrange your photos - some of your cool metal pieces would finish it off - Hugs.

I have all of my photos organized in three acid free containers. I'm happy to have it all done so I can scrap book to my heart's content this summer. It's about time I got all of my vintage family photos in books. Thank you for the organizing inspiration today!

Tough decisions! But, having real photos instead of TH people is priceless.
I have no way of printing anything, or I'd probably go crazy buying digitals. 😅 LOL
This morning, I'm stamping small images on numbered tickets that have the middle blank. A few days ago, I stamped words, a la TH. Before that, I glued faux postage stamp washi stickers onto the blank tickets.

I laughed during this video, Diane. I just did some sorting of old photos last week and it took me about 3 hours to go through a lot less than you did. I get to looking at them and thinking about who they are and/or what happened in their lives and the time slips away very quickly. I wish more of mine had dates on the back since many of mine are family pictures of long ago. I am making some small booklets like you made using the pictures on the front. I'm not sure how you will use half of the pictures you have, but you have made a small, small dent in your stash now.

I would have such hard time letting go of old photos too…I too wonder about the people in the photos…I just bought a few over the weekend and one was a group photo of a school from the 30’s or 40’s. The children all looked so poor and unhappy…I felt bad for them.
