Lilly King was absolutely amazing in this event !!
Kate tapered for NCAA's earlier this season, for her main meet in 2023; She also swims the widest variety of events of any woman in history. Lilly swims only breaststroke and it was her main meet this season and that was her 2nd best time ever. Look for Kate to concentrate more on the 200 breast at worlds and go a low 2:19 or 2:18 and become World Champ. Lilly King is an amazing competitor and athlete and I love watching her compete ... just incredible indeed !!

She dropped out of this to focus on the 50 (it was raced after this) and didn't win. 😐
That was in the 100 breast, not this. Lydia Jacoby is not really specialized in the 200. Anyways she made the team in the 100 behind King in a solid time . She also made the team in the 50.

No, would've been slower. Keep watching and studying swimming to learn, but glad we are getting new people such as yourself watching even if you don't know much about the sport and haven't competed
