Mega Man X themed model with light and movement effects

This is a model of X vs. Mettaur C-15 based on the character design from the original (and my favourite) SNES game. X and the Met are made of modelling clay + mechanical/ electronic components for movement (Met) and light effects (X). The backdrop incorporates more than 30 LEDs for the "charging effect" (only one color, otherwise there would have been too many wires to solder ;-) ). The "bullets" are orange LEDs with semi-transparent modelling clay around them, they are mounted on a slide driven by a stepper motor. The Met's hat is moved by a servo motor hidden in its base. The effects are controlled via two Arduino Unos, a decade counter (X-Buster), some low-side power stages and a dual H-bridge for the stepper motor.
