If there is any other show that so effectively ramps up the tension and delivers a blow that unsettles you deep in your gut more than this one, I cannot think of it. By the way, if you want to see another awesome, very intense show with Antony Starr (Homelander) check out 'Banshee', there are some fight scenes in that show so over-the-top brutal it's beyond insane.

i just dont understand how the police have the guts to go after Vought, when they literally have superman, even worst, a superman with no kryptonite. what are ur bullets going to do? they could take over the world if they wanted. u have to think about all of the supes that might have turned bad, and all the power that they might of had, Homelander must have been the one taking all of them down, to maintain appearances for Vought, cause at the end of the day, they're a company, wanting to go the saviors route, not the complete dominion by fear, which being honest, would be easier, like taking candy from a baby. cause, like i said already, what could the police and military do? Homelander could beam a whole city to ashes in like a snap. they're choosing to be the champions, not the dictators. are they willing to test them on that tho? also, the heads of Vought aint supes. so, there's also that to think about.
