The riff that everyone knows...that no one wants to play, because nobody can sing it. Great job!
Oh man…. And he also SINGS amazingly…..MINDBLOWING Ron !!!
I have to say the lead vocalist really surprised me. That's a very tough song to sing but he nailed it. Wow!
The vocals on this Boston mega-hit are a real challenge for any singer. Well done, folks!
I've come back to this, countless times. Still amazing 🤘🏼😸🤘🏼 Ron blows my mind. You all, blow my mind!
Trying to cover a Brad Delp vocal is one tall, tall mountain to climb. Great job!
Even Brad himself said in an interview that singing this tune live was extremely challenging..
That's the straight truth.. is why you don't hear girl singers cover him much
...too tall mountain. Missing the original, sorry
What was weird is he declined to hit the first high note.... but then hit the second one which is even higher! Odd.. but great nonetheless.
No, it's pretty simple. Either you can hit them or you cant. 99% can't
Didn't know Bumblefoot had such awesome vocals.
Boston has to be one of the toughest rock bands to cover because of their unique sound and Brad’s insane vocals. Very well done!
Yeah, and Brad didn’t go to falsetto leading into the chorus. Incredibly he hit that big hook note in full voice.
He needed a woman’s touch on the final reprise: where few men have gone before.
Check out Lexington Lab Bands Boston tributes…
How is the singer THAT good sat down? Totally awesome!
Bumblefoot is insanely talented as a guitarist and a singer!
seriously? dude..aim higher
agree!
What do you mean? Hopefully you aren't putting BBf down. He is the peak of musical proficiency, in every way.
Yes he is, but he's laughing because the Band Geeks are complementing him so well.
Good effort by the players but that vocalist should sing only in the shower.
Wow this guys vocals are awesome
First, I can't believe nobody has commented since my last, but... There's that girl again, singing the high harmonies, SUCH a great voice. Second, this song will undoubtedly be one of those classics which get played on the trip to colonise Mars :O) It never gets old to me. Third, Bumblefoot doing this makes me think that every good thing they say about him is true, a very kind-hearted soul.
Anne Marie does have an amazing voice. Have you heard her doing the Jackson 5 medley?
What a voice and what a guitarist! I never heard him! I knew him as Son of Apollo’s guitarist! Great performer!
Sí, sí! La voz y la guitarra sonaron espectaculares!
He also played with Guns n Roses 2006-2014!
Bumblefoot's singing is awesome..!!
Bumblefoot is a excellent guitarist and has an awesome voice! I am really enjoying the videos I'm finding of him. He's an inspiration to me....
Check out the Apollo record with Portnoy!!!
On top of being insanely talented, He is also one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. He also has a great inspiring story about his health. He is a huge inspiration to me especially after I got to meet him at G4. I intend getting as many people exposed to bumblefoot as I can. You at a minimum have to respect his musicianship.
This is by far the best cover of "more than a feeling " ive ever heard .
Yep
Boston I was lucky enough to go to concert to see when they had Brad with them. The first time was the late 70s just after Don't Look Back came in, and the second time was the vaulted Christmas in Canada 1986 tour. Still have the t-shirt from the second one
Bands like Boston, Styx, and various other bands from that era... brought the goods and are *still* inspiring musicians to this day. Music back then was thoughtful and well produced. Not knocking todays artists... but songs like this are truly timeless and will never get old despite the years. I still listen to the classic tunes from the late 70's and early 80's... and in my humble opinion... there are not too many bands left who do music like this. Boston *is* great. I could listen to their first album over and over.
Boston has always been one of my absolute favorite groups.. had the pleasure of seeing them live at the Tacoma Dome in ‘87 for their Third Stage tour.. this is one of the best covers I’ve heard!! ✊✊🎶❤️
One of the best feel good songs ever written by one of the best bands ever - Boston.
My throat hurts just watching that guy sing, amazing range.
Come back after 5 yrs and WOW just the vocals alone are the best. Brad Delph would be amazed
Props to the backup vocalists!
Bumblefoot Is excellent in this song! He is a one of a kind to sing this! One of my favorites that I have listen to 100's or more times thru the years! My hats off to him! Keep on playing and singing! Your my fan! Rick
Absolutely, one of the best videos on UA-cam! Hail Bumbletoot!
The big, harmonized, vocal crescendo, brings tears to my eyes, every time I watch this.
Thank you 👍🏻
Fantastic cover... congrats guys! Love the harmonics between the lead singer and the lady on the chorus (and clapping). It sounded great! Had to watch it twice because I really liked it!
That “Lady” and her sister are two amazing forces of musical nature .. and she’s Quite talented on several instruments as well..
Bumblefoot Rocks Holy shit !
Wow.. now I realized why he's the lead vocal of My fav band ASIA
You guys rock the great songs from the day
You haters back off
I’m a musician for more than 25 years and all I can say is wow !!! I bet all of the haters that you just fucking jealous because he sing and played like butter and no effort at all .. all my respect for the whole band and admiration for bumblefoot.
Ron is amazing.
Wow, Bumblefoot sings as well as he plays guitar 🙌
A+ from a 60 yr old rocker from Boston Area ! That song is chock full of potholes that musicians can fall into but you guys nailed it! Every part !
Very nice. Thank you!! Brings me back to a time when the world hadn’t lost its mind.
Like an old muscle car. Started slow, idles a little rough, but blows open on the top end.
dan t amer hist
Except that someone switched out the muscle car's original Muncie 4 speed, with a worn out automatic from a 1979 Honda Civic. The Honda Civic analogy is aimed at the drummer, who seems to over simplify rolls and fills, even when the original wasn't that complicated to begin with. The other musicians seem to be a step or 2 above the drummer in musical ability on most songs. Aside from that, I've been impressed with them.
I think he was talking about the voice of the lead singer (Bumblefoot). He has absolutely powerful high notes like Brad Delp did, but his low notes are not super smooth.
@@IAmTheRealKen true, but hey let's admit (those who sing); sitting sunk into a mooshie sofa is not condusive to getting full extension of diaphram, stomach and lungs. You can't open up and wail like that. What I love about this is the dynamics of this little studio full of musicians, having fun, playing this beloved song and putting out here for us to enjoy!!
Good on them!!
I'm diggin BF and will check out more vids of him and Band Geeks, sep or together.
amen brother : )
@@patrickmcleod111 Agreed - The drummer didn't do his homework on this one. He "Drum Dialed" this one in (see what I did there?).
A credit to the second guitar player for performing those tight lead harmony parts!
I can't for the life of me figure out why people would give thumbs down to this!! The Band Geek is fantastic.....must be jealousy I guess
To hit those impossibly high notes like Brad Delp originally did is too much for us mere mortals . .Bumble did a great job on lead, as did everyone else on this song. Thanks for posting.
That's a very difficult song to sing. Very impressed indeed!
More than Geeks !!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Great vocals and guitar work!!

Amazing cover with sensational vocals.
Whooooo.... great great performamce! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Somewhere, through all the pain he left behind, Brad Delp is looking down and smiling that the music he made lives on.
Re-creating the unique qualities of Delps vocals is no easy feat but Bumblefoot pulled it off like the Pro he is.
Awesome cover of this awesome Boston Tune!! Great Job!!
Nicely done! Bumble nails the Brad Delp vocals!!

@2:51 I know that grin on Bumblefoot's face well. Nailed those chords with Ritchie. We used to do Chicago covers and when we horn players would hit something like that, we would just look at each other like "holy shit did that sound good"...lol
Tough song to cover, more than done justice here. Superb.
This group of musicians are Tight and where did Bumblefoot come from. Bumblefoot covered this song with amazing talent and very cool licks. I'm a Fan.
