How To Photograph Birds In Flight In 4 Minutes

Just bought a Fuji 150-600 and was looking for this info…. It’s F8 at 600mm so I’m not sure I’ll get to 1/2000 but will try it - thank you 🙏

Ooh nice one! Hope you have loads of fun with it! If you’re shooting full frame you can push the iso a little harder for f8 it’s not hugely darker than f6.3. Also there’s lots of good denoising software, I use Lightroom for it, they don’t all work perfectly but it’s a nice fall back if you do push the iso harder.

I have fujifilm and the 150-600mm. You can absolutely shoot at 1/2000SS. The body you use is important. My XH2S is what I use for birds in flight and action. My XT-5 struggles to keep up and focus. The stacked sensor makes a big difference. That said, fuji is not the best for action and many other camera systems do it better.
