Nice mods but did you know that I If you call Ruger customer service you can purchase a magwell conversation kit for $25.95 that allows you to use AI or AR magazines. I'm in Florida and I have it on my 6.5 Predator and I use 30 round .308 AR magazines. Supposedly you can also use M1/M14 mags but I cannot attest to that. Enjoy 😂
@@benjaminkubrick3461 The Tikka is different. It won't work the same. You have to take it apart and measure to see what you can fit on there. Probably need a grind to fit pad and more stock mods to attach it.
This was just what I needed to fit my Rugers to my short arms thank you for making this video.
Your welcome! Hard to find any info about this mod.
Classy salvage of a factory stock. I got my boy a 10/22 not realizing the length of pull is too long for him. That's what brought me here.
Thank You! How did the 10/22 work out?
Thank you 😊
Any idea if this would work on the basic ruger american or is it the predator model only??
Should work. Take the butt pad off and see if the other mounting boss is in there
What was your LOP with the limb saver and 1” cut off stock?
Right at 13"
@@IFixGood great video! I’ll have to do that to my .308 Ruger. Thanks for the info
boy made a gen 2 back in 2022
So was this a standard adult size stock or the compact stock?
This is the standard stock

Sweet! Thanks! I looked into it but didn’t find much. I’ll have to call :)
That limbsaver still fit flush even after you cut an inch off the stock??
Limbsaver Part# 10824 fit nice once the standard stock is cut down an inch.
@@IFixGood awesome, thanks man! I’m gonna try it on my Tikka. Should be close enough

@@IFixGood oh gotcha. Might just need to get a aftermarket stock or chassis lol
Simple uncomplicated average garage installation. You just show that is can be done if you try.
Thank you!
