before the French invasion 15:49 they did not mention the gringo invasion which the North American government stole from us half of the Mexican territory such as the states of California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Arizona and parts of Wyoming, Kansas and Oklahoma and they almost invaded us and robbed chihuahua and veracruz which they couldn't thanks to the battalion of saint patrick's
You know what’s funny about Montezuma’s revenge, I was born in Mexico but moved to the U.S when I was only 7 years old. My little sister in the other hand was born in the U.S. When we go to Mexico, she always get Diarrhea but I don’t. I tell her it’s because Montezuma don’t like her 🤣
Probably noone cares at this point, but. Foodwise: Poc chuc is pork, marinated on a local type of orange wich is plenty more sour than the usual one. Chapulines (grasshoppers) are NOT boiled, they are toasted on a "griddle" and usually seasoned with lime, chile and worm salt (same type of worm used for mezcal) and have an unique and earthy flavor with a splash of sourness. They are really tasty. Texturewise its kinda like eating the brown paperlike skins of peanuts if you've ever had peanuts that are not as processed. Hope that helps.
Did Geography now conveniently left out the war between Mexico and the USA mid 19th century? were Mexico lost half its territory and the US gained a big bunch of land mass
