Hi Andrew, the summit was incredibly insightful. My favorite speakers were Tamima Shames and Alex Bochel, and my favorite tips from this video were from Wendy Parr, Giovanni Bottante, and Temima Shames. Thank you for making this possible! 😊
Do you have any tips for artist who got their Facebook ad account banned? I’m not sure what to do from here. Thanks a lot! And great content man big help nonetheless
I really was shadow banned. still dealing with the legal issues but in short, I used to do alot of games on my channel, I stopped uploading for a year or two, then out of nowhere I started releasing music and changed the whole channel name and everything. I did it for the "social proof," but in the long run, I ended up having to push my music out tremendously to receive the same result as other artists in my area. I produced their music and also mixed and mastered it, so it wasn't a quality issue. Also, I'm said to have well-rounded music in general, so the shadow banning effect started seeming like the case more and more. I've gone on another hiatus this time. I'm starting completely organic with no previous track record. It sucks because youtube still won't let me run ads to my channel😂😢
Hi Andrew. Great video! Super helpful. Quick question. What is the last gal talking about with shadow banning because you change backgrounds (the algorithm doesn’t know who you are). I played this section a couple times and I have no idea what that means.
Interesting video, thank you for uploading it. It's funny to see how some of the participants have contradictory advices, it clearly tells there's no unique approach.
Some people were busy, some weren’t interested in participating in an event! I don’t remember which Damian was, but he’s more than welcome when we do our next one.
Can you pls tell me what to do after I’ve chosen an artist name? Meaning is just making socials with the name sufficient or should i do other things to solidify it as MY name? Is it just the most popular person who has the name that can run with it or am I supposed to copyright it?Thanks.
This video is great. Can someone please explain to me how to promote the “best part of a song” on TikTok. Do I use the TikTok audio or my own video with the audio playing ??
Wish you would ask the question “what would you tell an artists with millions of streams who wants to play shows but doesn’t have the right connections or management ?”
Yoo andrew do you think a budget of $100 a month is good enough for running facebook ads? Its a small budget but i would be able to do it for a long time
Try it out first and see how it performs with the song you chose to run ads for. One year is $1200 sounds good and it'll give you a good perspective if it was the correct song or not and you won't lose that much money if it flops.

Absolutely killed this video. Loved it. Except that first guy his voice was weird.
i don't like him either
😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 chronic sinusitis?
Hahaha thanks dude!
The voice is just the barrier for entry. If people can't pay the cover they can't get in the door and hear the music.
So many gems in such a small amount of time. Great vid brother🤞🏽
Thanks dude!
Thanks for having me dude! :)
Awesome video Andrew thanks for this! 🙌
This is why i love how distrokid lets you PICK where in the song you want the preview clip to begin
Appreciate the video!!!

Great tips here. I'm looking to build up my marketing knowledge this year & pick my music up, so I'll definitely be thinking of these down the line
Adam Ivy nailed it!

What's the one thing you wish you knew when you were starting out (as I am now)?
