Surah Al Yunis 10:94
Allah who is supposedly god, tells Muhammad if he is in doubt about the revelations to go ask the people of the book who have read the scripture before him because they have “been sent down from your lord, so do not be among the doubters”.
Miskhat Al Masabih 155 says the Jews expounded the Torah into Arabic to teach the Muslims, Muhammad knowing how to read and write said “neither believe nor disbelieve the people of the book”.
See Muhammad took and plagiarized from the book they had in their hands (Mussadiqan), he didn’t want you to accept what the Jews and Christians had in their hands being the Bible or Torah.
In Islam the Taurat refers to the whole Old Testament besides the psalms; injeel refers to the entire New Testament.
the Gospels hadn’t been translated into Arabic yet! Muhammad took power in Medina and then slaughtered the Jews and because he had this new found power he was emboldened to claim to be a prophet for the whole world.
