OH. MY GOSH. OKAY. I am not a monbebe by any stretch of the imagination and I just happened to stumble upon this but. As a vocalist this is blowing my mind. First of all, I've never seen anyone emote this song so much. Ever. And I think it's a pretty good assumption that English isn't even his native language. He did his homework on what the lyrics meant or he's a good English speaker. And beyond that, holy crap. He started out singing like it was musical theatre and then pulled out this pop punk voice out of freaking nowhere for the chorus and idek how. And then he kept switching between those two vocal placements SEAMLESSLY. I'm gonna throw my phone. I'm gonna send this to multiple contacts. UGH. Good freaking amazing job Kihyun!
The way Kihyun sings is very interesting to me. He moves with the music and seems to feel it in his bones, and as such he acts out the emotions he is meant to emulate, at least when he's recording. I think that is part of why he can transmit so much emotion in his voice. He is an actor, but where most actors use their body language to transmit their message, his most potent tool is his voice. There's always a story in his voice. Honestly, it seems like he uses the mental techniques of the famous tenors in Opera and the physical techniques of a voice actor. God, what an Icon. This is why he's my absolute favorite vocalist ever

This cover shows that kihyun has a depth of tone in his his voice I haven't heard much of before. Usually, his voice is clear and pure like a bell. While good at conveying passion in his singing, I haven't heard this kind of depth, aggression, and grit at all the same time from him. No wonder he wanted to do a little more rock inspired music. This cover shows that kihyun has a depth of tone in his his voice I haven't heard much of before. Usually, his voice is clear and pure like a bell. While good at conveying passion in his singing, I haven't heard this kind of depth, aggression, and grit at all the same time from him. No wonder he wanted to do a little more rock inspired music. It brings out the best in his voice. Give this boy a few years, and he might just rival brendon urie.
I can't get over how everyone's English gotten so much better over the years. This just shows how much they work hard to strive to be a better version of themselves. 😍❤️ As a monbebe i'm really proud of these hard working artists!
