    I think Joe is the best musician ever. I wish they'd play him on the radio, he's better than absolutely everyone.

    Joe is even more down to earth than i thought. I could listen to hours of those 'guitar safari' stories. Would love it if Joe wrote a book about that with pics of those prized finds. First day buyer i would be.

    Joe is the greatest in so many aspects! Awesome Flying V find and so fine to not rip the lady off. I hope Joe can find a wife and have children to experience the joy of passing on his love of guitars and music 🎶. I’ve played guitar for 48 years and have 4 musicians children and 5 granddaughters that brings joy found in no other way. God bless you Joe I love you music and you stories ☺️

    Dude... why aren't you pulling in subscribers by the hundreds? This was highly entertaining. You have a relaxed, natural quality in your interviewing and didn't talk about yourself much at all unless it was germane. You always brought it back around to Joe. Great job. Sub'd

    • @hogie1259
      @hogie1259 7 років тому +3

      Another to agree here! They ask a question and just let him talk. So many other interviewers can't wait to interrupt with their own crap. Breath of fresh air to actually get to know and understand a musician I admire a little more! Sub'd!

    Great interview. Have always been a casual Crue fan, mostly because of Mick Mars, and hadn't heard Nikki speak until now. What a fucking friendly, well mannered, ego-less, class act. In your element here, my friend. Subscribed.

    I love the bit about Albert Hall and Clapton, one of my favorite videos, Clapton quite obviously had a ball playing a classic with Joe.

    Hi Joe, here's a voice from your past. Remember St.Maarten and Han? I was in Cuba last February and there is actually a blues jam club in Havana. They know a bunch more about you and blues than you think.

    I came here for Joe, but believe me- I will be coming back for Nikki and this show; he's a natural in this medium!
    How cool is it to be a fly on the wall and get to listen to two stellar musicians just talking about what they love?
    And kudos to Nikki's co-host, as well. I found her to be an excellent counterpoint to the discussion.
    Edit*
    If you've never listened to Joe Bonamassa and would like a recommendation, I highly recommend you check out Live at the Greek Theater...

    I'm so glad I watched this video, very informative, I was lucky enough to get to see Joe in Davenport IA, 500 seats I think. Awesome concert, 2015 I think. I was a fan a few years before, and it's great to see artists like Joe come into their own and I think Joe's vocals have improved tremendously over the past ten years.

    Just discovered this great interview like Joe discovered this 58 Flying V he was talking of! Really really great conversation!
    Love the part Joe is talking about the experience palying together with Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall - never believed that such a musican like Joe was that impressed of playing with Eric. But this shows the deep respect for HIS heroes. Also amazing the Guitar Safari Stories!
    Just great - Greetings from snowy Germany! Take car of you!

    I predict Joe buys a car in Cuba.
    And Joe, who is probably one of the most successful guitar _collectors_ in the country, talking about buying guitars and trying to make sure to not take advantage of anyone makes me feel good about humanity in a way that I rarely do. Truly a class act.

    • @nicholastotoro7721
      @nicholastotoro7721 7 років тому

      I have to admit... I'm a little torn.
      Joe is always one of those guys in interviews who comes across as patting himself on the back first. I mean... he really didn't need to share that story. Just seemed like virtue signaling to me. He had the buildup and everything and it seemed like he was making a bigger deal out of it than anything else he and Nikki discussed.
      You didn't want to screw over someone, Joe? Awesome, good on ya'. Just felt like you WANTED to share it with Nikki to let everyone know how awesome you are.
