The biggest mystery to me is how Jade grew a full beard from the end of the season 1 finale to the beginning of the season 2 opener seeing as how they take place on the same day.
Shows like these were MADE to last 7-8 seasons , that's when people start to lose interest and you see a half baked ending , sometimes in the middle of a season. Nowadays no one has that kind of patience. I was loving it initially in season 1 but then I realised, it keeps pilling up the mystery and questions. and I googled that the creators of "Lost" {having 121 episodes and worst ending in tv history} are making this show which was the final nail in the coffin for me.
@@tenglobalmedia1473 they did address this issue and promised more answers this time around but so far this remains to be seen. Why not provide answers while simultaneously developing and advancing the plot? Still enjoying the show but concerned there are no answers and this is just another "mystery box" or whatever they call it these days.
i knew it was made by the same creators but i wished there was a definite ending from the start. the difference between american and british shows is british shows have endings. this show doesnt have 7-8 seasons i dont know any show like this without a solid premise like the walking dead could go that long.
I love this show my favorite I’m ok that they aren’t giving us a lot I like the slow burn. Are you not going to continue to review or not? I’d be sad if you didn’t because I think you are by the best on UA-cam. I always check with you before I watch anything new. Thank you!
The creatures are definitely evil fae, which depending on what folklore we consider (celtic, norse, etc) they receive different names. Interestingly and surprisingly enough, "Fae" in scottish means "From". I suggest an article titled "A Short History on the Dark Side of the Fae", and the vid "What are the CREATURES in FROM" at the Alteori chann. The show is inspired (at least its general concept) in the manga Kasouba No Nai Machi Ni Kane Ga Naru Toki.
What *irks* me is Boyd had all the answers right in front of him and he chooses to try and play hero. And look where that got him. Infected about to die and even more clueless than before. I know we have to suspend disbelief and it's a show. But it's still *irksom* 😮💨
We couldn't go on after ep 3 or 4 of S1, once we saw the series for The Lost milk run it was def becoming, ahem. I rather would have had a S2 of Midnight Mass just quietly...
This show better get moving this 2nd season. I totally agree, this show is very good and onto a dynamic type of atmosphere with the Sci Fi and horror and drama and even a bit of supernatural and of course the comedy is solid but for Gods Sake will they just close up a couple questions they’ve gotten us into ??? There’s too many different avenues they seem to be going down and if they don’t form a direction I’m going to get annoyed and pass up watching week to week. I’ll give it through episode 3. If I’m not feeling like I understand what’s happening I’ll wait till it’s all out. At least I’ll try to wait, lol
This show could be something special if they just play their cards right and not go daft like lost. It has me gripped the mystery and horror behind it up to now brilliant show underated if anything but has the potential to be amazing in later seasons and go down as one of the best if done right. The opening episode of season two alone amazing.
Totally agree im on episode 7 just finished it and im dropping the show not because im impatient but because 7 eps in and not one bit of information has even walked toward any answers for any of the 100 different small mysteries that have been brought up.
People that didn't like Lost.. basically didn't understand lost.. coz want quick things easy things... but infact Lost did explain most of the things in the finale.. From is doing the same thing ' the Box inside the box concept' its intriguing with mystries and terrors.. Love LOST (ATF) and loving FROM finished both the seasons and waiting 3rd...😅
Cool review.... This show is bad. Not knocking anyone who likes it but.... Millions of questions and plotlines with no resolution or answers. All the characters are dim and short on common sense. It's another "Lost" knockoff type show with poor pacing, dialogue, characters, and story telling.
This show is horrible. The writers think all they need to do to make interesting characters is having them say, “hey, hey, hey are you alright?” every few minutes. And random objects that show up in random places is all thats needed to count as mystery: “Look its a music box, look its a braclet, no, look there is a dummy in a cave. Why is it there? We dont know.” Neither do the writers. They are just making up each episode on the spot without any sort of grand scope other than to get to the next episode where nothing about anything will be revealed.
its amazing and I enjoy hearing other ppl talk about what they like but I don't really have my own opinions I'm waiting to see. Im more down the demon road, whereas some people like the alien idea.
This show and yellow jackets r very similar. I hope both don't continue on this path of questions after questions. I love suspense but at some point they gotta deliver some resolves.
I don’t agree with you that this needs answers in the first 2 let alone first 4 episodes this shows in it for the long run and it’s taking us on a ride and keeping us guessing the first episode was amazing, I don’t feel you should watch the first episodes and expect an answer there’s a bigger story to unfold and theories to be made.
Episode 1is on UA-cam. The show is very well made, and superior to the Walking Dead in that we aren't just worried about zombies or some other group....there's a paranormal backbone that is very weird. I didn't like Lost,but it's good that they have already done the 'they were dead the whole time' in a show so they can't do it again. 🙃🙄. This and Evil are the best shows around these days. Rabbit Hole also, not bad....even if you hated Kiefer in 24, this is much better.
I hate this show it’s convoluted CRAP…JUST THE WRITERS WITH NO REAL PLOT MAKING UP AS THEY GO ALONG! I am surprised the actors can stop themselves from breaking out laughing!

Maybe you should only watch limited series then if you want shows to be done in 1 season

you are close, a big reveal will happen at ep 10.

Strong lost vibes. I can’t believe from, yellowjackets and severance all came out around the same time. All great sci fi/horror series.
