Okay so since this message, I sold the Dreamscience iMap, and I have the Mountune induction fitted, and the M235 kit arrives from Mountune in about an hour 😃 Also got the Mountune SS installed, and the new revised Powerflex torque mount. Miles better
Just come across your videos on the M235 upgrades, great videos! I'm not sure if I'll get a response from anyone but it's worth a shot. I've just recently got a Puma ST 1.5l and I'm thinking about getting the M235 upgrade and some other minor bits. I'm just a little concerned about a couple bits and rumours in terms of affecting finance/warranty policies etc. I currently have it on a PCP, and with an extended RAC warranty. I emailed the Finance company to ask if I could implement mods/to what extent - they explicitly said I have permission to modify, so long as the car is returned to OM spec, should I decide to return it. Awesome. But I'm not so sure on warranty terms. I'm curious if people think that the entire policy will be voided/nothing would be covered, or if only the parts replaced/directly linked parts wouldn't be covered? Can garages also tell if it's been mapped, even if it's been returned to the original factory map? Heard conflicting things on this too. If anyone has any advice on this that would be great! (my next step is to email the insurance company, but getting other opinions is also valued too!)
Miltek are nice for exhaust. GPF delete may cause MOT failures. Backbox change will prob give 3-4 bhp at most. Miltek is a little louder but not intrusive.
You can get a GPF back exhaust from milktek/ scorpion which will sound louder and pop slightly more in Sport and track mode. Milktek imo has the highest quality. There is little performance because the GPF is intact. You can upgrade to a 200 Cell Cat which will probably increase performance with ur setup maybe (1-2BHP) . Imo the stock exhaust with a map is more than enough with the pops and bangs
Great videos. I am receiving my 5-door ST2 tomorrow with the performance pack and wheels off the ST3. Videos such as yours inspire me do one day probably try some of these mods myself. I must ask, doing the Mountune or Revo tuning, don't you worry about longevity of the motor?
The straight answer was yes before in got my Mountune map. I did a lot of research before I got my map, I know a ford technician and I was informed that stage one maps should be fine on there’s motors as the adjustments are so minimal to engine. I went with Mountune as they are Fords preferred tuning company.
I have the milltek in my mk8 but the valve keeps jaming closed and wont open back up. In the end i just removed the valve controller and keep the valve open. If i were to do it again id go with scorpion. I have the m235 aswell😎
I have been advised to get a Scorpion to be fair. I believe the Milltek is the loudest as well. I will be ordering my exhaust soon and I will film it when I install it and I will review it as well. The M235 is good ain’t it? 👍
G5MAV yeah i love it. I had the m225 since it first came out and have since 6k miles im mow on 20k miles and zero issues. Thats why i chose mountune as i trust their research and development 100%
hello or purchased your smartflash kit for the ford puma I would like to know if you accidentally receive a call on the smart phone while programming the control unit, what happens? Has it ever occurred that during the programming phase that the smartflash app crashes? and if that happens what should be done? thank you
LOL I had the same decision to be fair, I went with the fiesta in the end mainly because I didn't need the space and once I had driven the Fiesta on the road I just had to have one!!

Follow supplied instructions on how to upload them to your mTune SMARTflash app. -m235 Performance - m235 upgrade file with full time launch control and no lift shift features and optimised exhaust overrun. -m235 ASMO - m235 upgrade file without full time launch control and without no lift shift features and optimised exhaust overrun. - with this you will be able to rev when stationary past 4k RPM (which is the full time launch preset RPM limit) and also when on the move with the clutch down without hitting the preset no lift shift 5k RPM limit (we had a handful of customers who wanted these features removed).
235 is a really nice map. Surprising how fast a little 1.5 can accelarate :)

valves issue was down to the adapter that Miltek had initially. The updated one should clear the issue. SCC performance fitted mine.

Nice, thinking of buying a mk8 fiesta st or spending roughly 7k more for a mk4 focus st, mountune do the m330 for that, decisions decisions lol

If the power delivery is Linear then that’s ideal the focus bluefin map dumps too much power in the low RPMs rendering the power unusable

Yer I think powerflow will do something, I’ve got a powerflow on my BMW and that is really deep. I will look into it and let you know.

5 mins to change maps 😳 REVO sps controller is the time it takes to stick it in the OBD port, which is like 5 seconds
