The general formula is 180 (n-2) where n is equal to the amount of sides of the shape and th3 '180' next to the bracket just means multiply in mathematic terms. it's quite easy to remember if you want a quick and easy way to remember how to do the sum of interior angles😊

Formulas confuse me too much. I just draw a point in the center of the polygon(octagon for example) , then i draw lines from the center to each vertex of the the polygon (8 lines). Then i know that the points of all the triangles at the center add up to 360, since they make a circle. Then I divide that by the number of triangles (360/8=45). If all sides are equal I just subtract that value by 180, since it's a triangle (180-45=135). Then that's my value for each angle of the polygon (135). I know its more work, but it visually helps me understand it more.
