He is the only character who is really sleazy. But he is confident in his arrogant and tyrannical title. I can never forgive him for stealing from the mice in the church. I love this movie for its watchable quality! It has action, love, and humor! Almost the perfect movie!
This guy is one of the many reasons why I love Robin Hood so much. The sheriff is absolutely cuddly and I admire how big and chubby he is. 😻 And of course, Pat Buttram gave a phenomenal performance.
I so needed this as I was very angry today but this really cheered me up as the Sheriff is my fave character in this movie. He also appears in ‘House of Mouse’ and some recent Disney mobile games. I also like the way you pointed out he was just FAT and is able to do things a wolf of his size should not be able to do.

Pat Buttram did such a great job voicing The Sheriff of Nottingham. The character is so memorable in the film.
