thankyou for this video this afternoon i crack the top ring on my piston. did not know what type piston i have .then i rember this video i have the high hole b. thumbs up
Thanks for the info I'm buying a motor bike tomorrow not sure what is wrong with it he said maybe rings but it doesn't start maybe you can help me out with questions
Very nice and clear explanation thank you very much for the info was curious about this and now I know if I ever need to change the rings for my motor.
can you please tell me on the build for Lifan LF152F-3Q 3 HP 79cc 4-Stroke OHV Industrial Grade Gas Engine with 18mm Keyway Shaft, Recoil Start and Universal Mounting Bolt Brand: Lifan witch one to use on my first build is it 3 hp or 4 hp or 6.5 hd?
Hello Eugene I ordered a cylinder set off amazon didn't realise the size difference. Infact I just presumed mine was a 80cc. The space between the hole for the carb intake is 40mm and 40mm for the exhaust what size engine does it make mine. Cheers
On these gas frame bikes can we put real motorcycle front suspension setups on them and rear ends and how do you get the triple trees to stop moving around I think I put them on the wrong way? And thank you
Thanks for the video. I tried doing this once and dropped both G clip washers, or whatever they called into the crank case... I didnt think it was a big deal. I was so very wrong!
A clip came off my piston will riding my 78.5cc big bore and it was a big no no, broke the piston and the transfer on the cylinder wall. Ordered a new 50mm piston and hacksaw out the transfer cylinder walls to salvage the cylinder...only the piston got badly damaged. Found 3 pieces inside the crankcase and put oil and clean the crank out. Will be getting new Piston today, and riding again. 😎
What are the piston rings for cause my motorbike piston rings broke off and I tried to ride it just like that’s and it didn’t start so I’m assuming that it’s the piston rings
When I install the piston in my cylinder there's that faint scrape now the whole engine is put together and when I turn the crank i still hear that same faint scrape that normal? Also I barely had to compress the rings it just slid on
I'm building my first motorbike bike I'm running into issue my Chinese engine kit chain doesn't seat in the sprocket teeth straight when it wrap around sprocket 360 degree, from some reason the pitch is set far off from the sprocket teeth. What is the deal? Please help
I ment ring can I run on one ring I have them coming in post ..... Just wanted to know will it damage it if I start it with only the top position ring as bottom one cracked due to me not knowing how to change it
@@HughesMotorized iv been told it will increase rpm ...... And if the gas pass it and it seases I will have to change one ring .... If it brakes and the other ring which is.... There to get ya home but it will push metal round and destroy the head ....
I'm at sea level so never had to mess w/ that. However, try raising the clip on needle a notch or two. Jet size should go lower. Stock is 70. Try 62 or so. Good luck!
Thank u so much in the kits are they 5 or 6 mm ..... I have been watching u from the beginning of this nightmare I already put a hp carb in it I went with smaller hole and it's finally running better only 22mph I should b going faster I have upgraded so much o. This motor they are crapped feel like I have new motor Lolo thanks again hopefully I will catch ur next live show kisses
This is the best motorized bicycle channel. You have no idea how lost I would be without it.
same..... do you still ride??? this was a yr ago?

I enjoyed your video. I have been building motorized lately. I have learned a lot.
Cool, thanks

Brand: Lifan witch one to use on my first build is it 3 hp or 4 hp or 6.5 hd?
6.5hp is too much IMO. Experts only. I'm happy w a 49cc 4 stroker as 30mph is plenty fast for a bicycle
Sound and video was very good 👍
are the rings have to be in a certain place like one ring has to be in the top channel and the other has to be in the lower channel
Looking forward to upcoming events and videos 👍👀
Just picked up a zeda 80. Is there a particular piston/arm type that engine will use? Or do I have to take the cylinder off and actually look?
Things change so I'd say look and see would be best

66/80cc. Just need to get 40mm intake

yes, you can but you need to insure you have correctly sized bearings. The Gasbike frame uses 1 1/8" non-threaded headsets
Do I have to run a 16:1 fuel ratio again with the replacement jug and piston?
No. You should not ever do a break-in mix. ALWAYS run 40:1
Hughes Motorized noted. Thank you

Grasshopper. You must be able to do it blindfolded. Then you will see the way.
PS. I have several clips that bounced somewhere in my shop.

right i just blew my motor from it
Mr. Hughes I have 80cc 2 stroke motor and the Piston is not compressing do you have any idea why it would do that?
busted ring or bad gasket? Need to tear it down and see
@@HughesMotorized you were right man I tore it apart and there sure was a lower busted ring thanks for the heads up!.👍

Do you lube the cylinder before piston
You can. It's not required. The gas/oil will get in there when running
@@HughesMotorized Ty just got cdpk80 and have never put one together how about the Bering that the wrist pin goes through
@@ljaydumond5489 No need. When you start it up, the gas & oil will lube it up instantly

Sounds right
I am confused, why would the kit come with the wrong piston size?
And how do you know what piston size you are supposed to have?
There are many different factories making the parts. Some fit in other applications. You match the piston to the push rod. Someone mixed something up
I have a question.. my stock piston is b piston. Can I replace my stock piston to A piston?
nope. won't work
I need a piston type B when can I get one please
how to replace piston rod bearing

so i just finished putting motor on my bike ready to start it but now my back tire doesnt want move hmmm help
Chain is probably stuck in the casing at the sprocket. Mines done that. Oil the chain and make sure it had enough tension
