Maybe it's a thing? - don't add to the tank water from the store where was the fish, especially if it was in the glass or overcrowded aquarium, the water can be contaminated especially if the fish was already there for some time and then there is a greater chance of infection than fast replacing fish (but the temperature should be acclimatized). At least that can be reason of adding Ichthyobodo, Chilodonella, Trichodina
Thanks for your support! ❤️❤️ extract must be added only once when water change. Adding daily will reduce the pH level drastically, which is not good for betta. Use pH test kit if needed.
@@aquadiaryofficialHello, I have a question about bowl aquariums, what do you think about them? I'm asking because some aquarists don't agree with them, I like them a lot, I have a 4 gallon bowl aquarium and in it I have 1 betta and 3 Corydoras Albinos. And cay fish can be kept maximum in 4 gallons? Thank you and I wish you success!
What can I do to lower the water temperature? I live in a city where it's hot most of the year. Should I add a fan on top of my tank? Add ice to the water?

Same here, I am an experienced keeper, used to do salt water successfully. I had 5 gal, cycled tank, put Betta in fresh water quarantine container for 4 days(we do rain water collection, no well, no city water) water parameters were perfect, temp may have been too cool, but after 4 days I added him to the cycled tank with 81* and all other fish shrimp and snails are good. He never swam well, stayed at the top in the Frog bit floaters from day one. Next day after he went in the display he DOAd. I was sick! But my water has tested perfect. I will attempt to order another online this time as I bought him at Petco.

Thanks for your support! ❤️❤️ extract must be added only once when water change. Adding daily will reduce the pH level drastically, which is not good for betta. Use pH test kit if needed.

Attach a small fan if u can there are aquarium fans available… ice dont do that well ..😊
What fish you have? Bettas are happy even with 80-82F, increase the tank size and keep them at room temperature would solve this.
I have too many betta tanks thats why i can't use too many heaters what should i do in cold weathers for my bettas?
Heat the room, watch the temperature in the tank, if the heated room can keep the tank water above 76°F, you dont need a heater
aww damn it I put my betta on the same day I got the tank and put it and now it’s always by heater :(
Betta may stay near heater when oxygen level is low or tank water is cold on other areas. Check it out.
Bro I followed these steps and my betta died
