Hey Tommie! I was riding today working on back 360s and was struggling to get them consistently. I watched your video on top the park, tried a few of your tips, and immediately started stomping them consistently! Keep up the great work man!
Ok so I've been watching your videos for a while now and I gotta say, my progress has come a long way. Switch riding and carving, nollies, ollies, 180s flat ground and side hits, butters. I love it. I hope that at the end of this season or next I can get a 360 around. Basically, I'm giving you credit for where I'm at right now. Thanks dude! One day when you make it to the ice coast I'll show ya the stuff you've taught me. Thanks bro!
I've progressed a lot the last few years. I'm able to ride all mountain regular riding no problem. Now that im learning some tricks this video is exactly where I am at. Thank you, you're awesome.
Nice breakdown, for me the main problem is to get the anchorage to the ground / the grip to the ground to throw the trick... As soon as I start moving I feel like I have nothing to grip to be able to push and throw the trick... I'll keep practicing!!!
The best Videos are when you teach someone how to do a Trick. For example 180s, boardslide. I am a good rider but i am new to the Park. I love this Kind of tutorial because you see the progress and that other people can do it too. I am new to your channel and i like it alot. Maybe you will find someone and show how you teach them new stuff. I will get one of your stickers. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany :)
I got them somewhat down on my own the other day! I found the key for me was really looking through the spin, and using my shoulders to do the 360, and my board would just come around naturally. Cant wait to get im steezy now :D This video will help so much!
Thanks for this breakdown! Wish i saw this video last weekend before i went shredding. Would have definitely nailed my first back 3! Thank god for youtube having videos to play in slow motion too. I realised by the time you come off the lip of the jump you're already facing backwards which is interesting!
The only thing you "missed" is the fear factor. But there's not much you can do about it, just trying a lot of side jumps until you get comfortable with it I guess. I'll be back in a month and tell you if I got my 360 down, but for now, probably best step by step guide I've seen, thank you!
I never thought to practice this without jumping. Ive always had a 360 block but i think this is going to help a lot. Its very uncomfortable to turn your back to the direction of travel. 👍
I wind up game is lacking and I try to compensate with my hips too much wish I watched this before I absolutely shredded my groin muscle today. Had to buy a cane.
Tommie , just wondering if you could elaborate a bit more with your take on what your eyes should be doing through the process on going up the transition of the jump and to when you are spotting the landing , I understand trying to spot your landing too early is one of the biggest problems right ?
so i ride regular and i always found it really easy to spin frontside as i can spin a front 720 on a small jump but yet i still cant figure out a simple back 3 so i tried doing a switch back 360 and be doing this it felt more like a regular front 3 and was really easy to learn to style it out and stall out the rotation and from there i then have now started to pay more attention to how i spin a switch back 3 and it is slowly getting easier to spin a regular back 3
Hey, Tommy. I found you earlier today and.. well now it's 2 hrs later and I'm still watching your videos 😂. I'm a new snowboarder (have only been 3x) and I'm having trouble switching from edge to edge. As soon as I try to go from Heel to Toe, my board goes flat and just gets stuck in the snow before I can get on my Toe Edge and I go FLYING. It's almost like trying to do the "S-Turn" I can't link Heel to Toe stops, what do you recommend?
Like all his video im new at doing tricks but by watching and just listen to what he teach im actually learning thanks but do you think you can do more on goofy video thanks
Thanks for the great how-to video! I am able to do back3 on side hits, but when it comes to park jumps I have the fear of not being able to complete the full 360 and would crash facing down hill so I am not able to turn my head around while in the air to complete a back 3 on a park jump, even for a very tiny small one . What would be a good drill to practice to overcome this fear?
If you are worried you will only make 270 just make sure you land on your heel edge with you're weight over that edge and you should be fine on a little jump. You will either side slip a bit or butter the rest of the spin around
Hi Tommy, Great Tutorial! I really enjoy watching your videos (and Jonathan's..), and I think they would be even more helpful if they also featured a "common mistakes" part and a bit more footage of the "trying to get there", adding a breakdown of realistic amount of time and practice needed to really be able to 360 (front or back) from a small park jump would also be helpful (and help set an achievable time table for learning and mastering skills)
Audio is fuzzy distorted with lots of reverb hard to listen to in many places, great video tho, want to see more how to do 360s both frontside and backside, thank you
Man, legit breakdown. Very well explained and the “why’s” are answered, and there’s thorough footage showcasing the key points.
Yoooo dan
ellstacker adventures Heyo!!!

One of the best board skill tutorial channels out there. Dood has skill but can teach simply and without sounding superior.
Tommie Bennett For sure dude. If you ever come out to Kelowna, Canada let’s shred

Landed my first 360 thanks to this video. This has got to be one of the best feeling tricks to stomp.
I have never been told to tighten my core when I doing a 360. Can’t wait to try tmr!
Best back 3 tutorial I've watched so far! Please! A frontside 360 tutorial!
Your step by step breakdowns are so instructive and helpful.

This was great man!!! I’ve landing in the back seat a few times.
Great breakdown tommie, can't wait to get on the hill in Norway to practice these, and your other tutorials!! Great work man!!
You make the trick breakdowns very simple to understand. Keep it up yo! 🤙

I feel you. People tend to feel comfortable to spin in one direction. I can back 3 now but I struggle for a front 1...
Great tutorial, I'm gonna try it this season.

Tommie Bennett I actually don't 😭. Next time I go I'll make a video so I can show you. I'll be waiting for this video 😈
i kind of lift my tail off and swing it into position.. works really well. just got to get used to shifting your bodyweight downhill over the nose.
killing it
King dawg
Thanks Tommy!!!
legit breakdown.

Randy Furlong thanks for the tip!
Great vid bro, thanks 🙏
Awesome video man!! Can you talk about jumping off an edge? I feel comfortable jumping off my base but not quite as comfortable on my edges.
Thank you so much for this video!! I requested and you accepted! Thank you! Even if I was probably not the only one😂.
your back 3 is so stylish
@@tommiebennett I am gonna download your video and work on my back 3 next week. many thanks. 🙏
hey Tommie, not sure if you've covered this, what setup are you riding on?

sweet vid. Can you make a vid on how to fall correctly if thats even a thing? thanks!!!!!!
Love the vid bro. Can we get a tutorial on frontside 360s? I for some reason almost always land 270 and heavy on my toes.
I LOVE THIS VID!!
Is this a trick you wanna pop kinda off your toe edge on flat ground? On jumps ive been able to throw it but don't quite have them on flat 🤔
Can u tell us your height/weight and board size PLS?
im 145 5'6" and the board is a 152 stiff camber board
very helpful
Dude i want 360s sooo bad!

Waiting for winter to get here… so I’ll just watch old TB videos. 😅
@@tommiebennett I need to proof read what I type. Epic fail.
I’d love to see a video that covers bigger spins 540s +
Hey man do you detune your boards?
What do you mean by leaning uphill?
Does Having a lighter board make it easyer
Goofy 🙃 💯 % helped out here 👏
legend!!!
how can anyone dislike this?
I’m struggling to find a side hit that I’m comfortable enough trying something new on. I might just find a small jump in the park and send it tomorrow
dope
Thank you for finally having a goofy rider
Tommie definitely bangs the girls in these videos
Good to know hope he can release a tutorial about that too
Rawr
So basically wind up, pop, and hit the dab super hard
Audio is fuzzy distorted with lots of reverb hard to listen to in many places, great video tho, want to see more how to do 360s both frontside and backside, thank you
I was waiting for the edges, specifically what edges to jump off and land on. And then you said them lol
I would start in your living room just to get used to spinning the total 360 degrees.. JMO without a board LOL
Hit us up on doing legit methods! Much respect ✊
like it
Where’s the 180 guide?
I tought she is going to make 360s
What goggles are those dood?
