    As a cool tone girlie, I have noticed that the best way to tell if you are is by testing orange lipsticks and blushes. If they look REALLY awful on you...cool is your thing!

    I cannnot wait for the Soft video! I think my coloring is changing as I age. I was relatively sure I was a Summer, but I always had nautural gold or chesrnut highlights in my brown hair. Now I am natural gray and ash brown mix with blue eyes. Thank you for your informative videos.

    I just recently discovered Im a fair cool olive skin tone. I have to mix fair olive and fair pink foundation for my best match. Silver hair, eyes like grayed-down navy blue that are made to look brighter navy blue with the right colors! Lip colors must have enough purple and blue to look right on me!

    Sapphire pops on me. I’m not sure the blue green would. You recently, kindly, told me I was clear and cool. Well. I have a lipstick that I realise leans to the warm side, but too subtly for me to realise. I was never certain of it on me and thought it was because I was too dark for it I recently bought a lipstick that’s more purple pink. I’ve realised it’s the same depth as the warmer pink, but really really suits me. I think I’m very sensitive to temperature.

    These videos are the best explanations of of cool/warm etc that I’ve seen. Still, I’m a bit conflicted: I used to be warm…now at 60, with light grey hair, fair/cool complexion, you would think that it’s clear and yet I still have yellow based hazel eyes…what to do with this? It C seems like I’m not aligned 😮!? I was working in the garden, caught a tan even with spf 50. Have you had or seen anything like this?

    I think you can tell straight away when someone fully warm most of the time but not always and people who are warm-neutral are even more tricky and would need colour comparisons. Im neutral-warm and have very dark hair and pale olive and im sure the average person woukd think im cool. I have a purple brownish tone to my lips which is a cool feature but im warm DA

    I am a through and through winter by definition (orange has 0 chance, yellow is yucky except pale baby duck yellow). Until I watched this video, what bewildered me was I don’t pull off pitch black really well as recommended for winters, (along with many highly saturated cool colors). Optic white is always a winner, along with many pastels not all (now I know it is a pattern here: icy colors). I second guessed am I a summer? But I have a lot of contrast. This video explains the tone, I have very light skin tone, highly saturated colors are overwhelming when close to my face. Explains!

    This is a great explanation, and thank you for all your videos. Sometimes, I think hair and eye colors should be masked : I always thought I was a warm, deep, rich autumn because of my hair and hazel eyes. And all my teenager and adult life, I always look tired, not attractive, sick... One year ago, I try color analysis with skin only. Shocked. I'm an true cool fair-medium olive. Genetics sometimes sucks (I'm sorry but 1/3 of my life was gone in wrong colors 🤣🤣🤣). I'm glad multiple systems of color analysis exist because we (in milliard on Earth) just are the result of an experimental evolution from Amoebas 🤣🤣🤣 . Now, light blue grey is my basic color with a touch of black, medium blue and red (blue undertone), and even if I'm sick or in a sad acne attack... people doesn't notice anymore.

    Is it possible to have a warm overtone and cool undertone?

  • @june7rose
    @june7rose Місяць тому

    The light/dark is the most difficult part of the equation. Other analysts boil it down to eye color. Dark eyes are dark seasons, period. Summers and Springs always have blue or green eyes, meeeeybe hazel. I have fair skin and light hair, but would be an autumn because of my eyes, and that system did work out for me. I'm positive I'm SA from personal experimentation. But I don't know if that automatically works for everyone.

    The color of eyes and hair is a tricky one for me. For the hair you can’t tell if it’s natural or dyed.
    An overall warm person can have a cool undertone.
    An overall cool person can have warm colored eyes.
    The undertone is not visible, a cool person can have a warm overtone.
    Your explanation is based on natural features when everything is just right.
