    The plateau is real 😂.
We definitely go through periods of burn out with making the same videos over and over and it often does feel like “work”. We try to keep changing things up and adding in new storylines like our flip house to keep the viewers interested (and allow ourselves something new to work on). Overall we love what we do and the “bad” days are SO much better than the “good” days working for someone else 🥰

I’m not, nor do I want to be…a reseller. I’ve been enjoying your videos for years. It comes down to you guys being genuine, honest and consistent.
I’ve got 3 adult kids, and there are always, always disappointments. You’re sharing your life with us. That’s what I relate to. It’s so tempting to compare ourselves and our problems to others. But, hey, our problems are what we have and they are real to us. Being unapologetically genuine and truthful is how I see you guys.
You’re going to be a success at whatever you do. You work hard, it shows.
We love being kind to others. We always need to be kind to ourselves. My mom/grandma opinion. It’s worth what you paid for it…zero 😂 You got this.

Your video's inspired me to begin reselling. As an elementary school teacher the supplemental income was welcome. I hate that you have to justify being able to complain about the stress in your life. Your problems are your problems no matter what anybody else’s problems are. I think you and Allie are doing a great job at what you intended your UA-cam channel to be. I hope things start turning around for you and getting a little less stressful. And I look forward to every time I see one of your videos pop up!😊

Please never quit car chronicles. It’s honestly nice to have the personal side to y’all’s channel that helps us resellers relate. Just prayed for God to calm y’all’s minds during that unknown of the build. One verse I really rest on in life is Phillipians 4:6-7. When I was suddenly let go from my first post-grad position after 6 years, it’s like God supernaturally blocked my mind on what I was going through and provided peace which matches these verses. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Would love to meet up if y’all are ever in Tallahassee.

Brotha, your wife is healthy you’re a beast mesomorph and you guys are doing very well in a time where many people are struggling. My advice would be to give a timeline on how much longer you are willing to wait on your barn house and if it is not met cash out on your current property and buy a house with a shop on the property of your dreams. Either way you slice it you are going to be paying a bank loan so you might as well get something that is already closer to what you want.

I love your and Allie’s videos! Y’all are the cutest couple! Troubles can happen to anyone, no matter your financial circumstances in life. I was a Cardiopulmonary Therapy director at a rehabilitation hospital, whereby I cared for quadriplegics who had tracheostomies and used ventilators to breathe for them, and my husband was a school teacher, and we were newlyweds. Then, my paramedic brother fell at his home in the next state away, but he happened to have passed out, fell forward in his pantry, and his head hit all of the shelves on the way down to the floor, and he broke his neck in 5 places and became a quadriplegic. I provided care for him for ten years, while my husband returned to college in his 40’s, got a second bachelors degree in accounting, and then got his MBA. He was working for the largest offshore oil companies as an accountant, while I began having severe spine pain myself. I ended up having to have surgery on 6 places in my spine, because my discs were blown out, and after my first surgery, I wasn’t allowed to lift more than 10 pounds. We were spending many thousands on his care, because I couldn’t do it any longer. After a very few months, we could not afford his caregivers, So, my brother moved back to his hometown to a nursing home, and just after that, Hurricane Ida and it’s spin-off tornado hit all of us on the Southeast coast of Louisiana (and we’re farther south than New Orleans) and we sustained $156K in damages, and we had 80% black mold in our home, but our supposedly great homeowners insurance offered us $29K-and that happened to everyone down here! And all of the homeowners insurance companies pulled out of south Louisiana, and with only 1 company writing new policies, the insurance costs went up 287%- no lie!! So, in February of this year (3 years later) we finally got our home repairs completed. Now, with 5 spinal fusions and a laminectomy, I’m disabled, and my husband has just been diagnosed with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes and fatty liver and pancreas disease. He now works when he’s able on his eBay store, but I feel horrible, because he’s been complaining of severe exhaustion for 3 years, to the point where he has to lie down after working. He really enjoys eBay work, because of the flexibility of his schedule, because we, especially my husband, serve in the ministry at our church, as he teaches adults’ Sunday school, and I teach the pre-K through second graders in Sunday school, and my husband occasionally preaches at our church, and we love it there so much. We are praying for y’all, because I know troubles can happen to anyone. I am absolutely heartbroken, because my brother had to have his leg amputated this week, and if his decubitus wound (aka bed sore) does not improve, then he will lose his other leg at the hip, and I’m completely outraged and gut-wrenched that so much has happened to him since he’s been gone in just 3 years. We are going through a great deal since we were homeless and grief stricken, but that’s nothing compared to my poor brother! He’s had a hemorrhagic stroke, a heart attack, had to get a pacemaker, had Covid multiple times, and chronic kidney infections, and bowel infections! I am beyond horrified that he’s gone through so much! If the wounds on his left leg become infected, like I said, he’ll have to have that leg amputated at the hip. Please pray for my brother, as we’re praying for y’all. I am beyond devastated at his suffering. We are going to visit him in 2 weeks, and I’m looking forward to seeing him, but simultaneously dreading having to see him in such of a condition that he is in, and yes, I blame myself, because I feel like I have failed him by my having a deteriorating spine. I’ve actually had so many fusions that I’m 2” shorter! But my brother had a good life with good health under my care, and then my spine pain got the best of me. My husband has begun to recover, but I’m praying for both of them. I just wanted to let you know that y’all are loved and appreciated for your videos! Allie is such a darling! God bless you, Ryan and Allie, and please continue your car chronicles! 🙏❤️🤗😊🎉

Ryan, first sorry for the long comment. However, we found ourselves in such a situation a few years back. I think your video when you bought your ranch may have inspired us. We liquidated in Ohio in search of a new location we looked at property in several states including Florida. We love reselling so didnt want to leave country. We looked in states that were favorable to what we wanted. We settled on 20 acres in the Ozarks in Missouri. Main reason most counties its do what you want. Where we live permits are not needed for most anyrhing. If we build something and it collapses on us, our fault. Relieved a lot of stress and worry in our lives. I guess just wanted to tell ya all, keep your heads up high. Things always have a funny way of working out. Much love to the 2 of you.

Good Morning Ryan , I think we all feel what your feeling at times and when things seem to keep road blocking with the domino effect . When my wife and i feel like the way your talking about we always find what is good and right in our lives and think how much worse it could be . You and Allison are gifted people i have said that before. I feel like maybe in your earlier videos you had that exciting with starting the you tube channel and traveling its exciting and would defiantly put you in a different state of mind. When we watch Allison's channel you can see her passion for creating items and taking something plain or boring and turning it into an exciting piece , I feel like that is also the case with the ranch , you both have these special skills that you can perceive an item of its value and also how to make it better. Every night before you go to bed you and Allison should have a talk about the day im sure you guys do that already . I think the car chronicles is a great idea because it makes you vulnerable and when you are that way for the moment you can really get alot off your chest and i feel other people can relate to what your talking about . I really feel like your an awesome guy and i know personally over the years watching your videos i take little pieces and apply them in my own life , i feel like the little steps in life are the most important ones . If you took all of it away tomorrow but you still had Allison you would be just fine or vice versa. You both are truly a team so you never have to go through anything alone . Ryan i feel like at the end of the day when you put your head on the pillow if you have your Health , Wife , Family , and Good Friends in your life you already won , Anything after that point is just a Bonus !
Keep up the hard work you both are very special people!

When you find yourself in a rut, seek new ways to break up the monotony. Do something different. So you can't leave the country, but can you take a day trip? Plan a weekend getaway? Visit a place nearby that y'all just haven't been to yet? Taking a step back from the projects can help you gain perspective when you have been pushing so hard for so long.

It’s crazy how our bodies handle stress, the only thing I would say is keep doing what you’re doing now. Working on ways to relieve it is the best goal. (Not always achievable) but every feeling whether it makes sense to others is valid and you guys will probably go through it completely different and have more intense moments at opposite times. That makes it great so you can help each other but also can add stress because you then feel the need to fix it for the person you love. It’s a crazy circle. This to shall pass, you just have to fight the dragons first …but you both are warriors in your own ways…Love you both

We appreciate the honesty of your car chronicles. We have been reselling since 2005, and understand the ebbs & flows of the business. When we watch some of the “big-time” resellers who always get great hauls at the bins and thrift stores- one of whom you mentioned in this video- we struggle to understand why, more often than not, we do not. The stop you made at the thrift store midway through this video, which you probably considered a throwaway, was encouraging simply because it was REAL; two shirts worth $60, and nothing else. If you are sincere in your comment that you don’t care if the video only gets one view, then know that, at least one of your viewers is encouraged by your effort to discuss the reality of the business. And, please, never apologize for being successful; just stay informative, humble and kind.

Stress is stress man no matter financial state or what causes one family stress vs another. I have stress for things in life that are completely different but doesn’t make my stress or your stress mean less. Keep your head up and find keep doing the things that help make you happy during these times and things will get better! I just started an eBay shop and I’m loving it but dealing with the stress of starting something while making sure day job and family are being taken care of first and I do the things to that make me happy to keep my head up and move forward with every adventure I embark on!

    Hi Ryan,
I'm so sorry to hear of the struggles you and Allison are faced with. I wish there were laws to protect people financially and mentally when faced with governmental bs, such as permits etc. And noone should ever have to deal with idiots trying to be contractors that have no business trying to be. Ironically, my son is a contractor that builds pole barns, and pole barn homes etc. So we understand, 1st hand, your frustrations. You 2 are so great and we love watching your videos. I think these talk videos are great because when you watch these videos, you feel like you know the people in them. It'd nice to be able to see both sides of the coin. Just think back and do some things that may be fun..go dumpster dive and see if you can find some treasures. Get a metal detector, go to the beach and treasure hunt. Do a staycation, go to Disney or even take a cruise on a glass bottom boat. The most important thing is that you and Alli have each other...there is nothing more great than the love you share with one another. We appreciate you guys and think you guys are wonderful and are doing great things. Keep up the good work. Spread cheer and love, as you do, all will come around back to you. Karma is Karma, good or bad...just remember that. Big hugs from us to you guys.

Everything happens for a reason and sometimes we have to take a step back and be appreciative and thankful for the signs being put in our faces. It's all a test brother. Stay strong and keep a good heart. Maybe it's time to direct the focus on something else. You will know better than anyone so tap into the worlds energy and listen to your gut feelings. I appreciate this video alot in this point of my life. Thanks for sharing 🙏

As a small real estate developer I can understand your frustration.
Dealing with utility installations and the higher cost of these processes is very frustrating. The unexpected delays are also very frustrating.
We just keep powering through and get it done.
We’re almost finished with the last development and can start making money on
    the property in
In a couple of months but it cost much more than expected and took much more time than expected but we are getting there. Keep
plugging away and keep making the

I love your car chronicles so please if they are good therapy for you keep doing them! I’ve always loved that about y’all you seem to just go with the flow & do what makes ya happy 110% authentically! Please try to not ever feel like your emotions and problems are less than anyone else’s just because you have worked you a*ses off the last 9 years to get where you are! All I can say is don’t give up! Lean on each other! I give way better advice than I take because I’m struggling myself right now big time trying to figure out how to be happy and what to do to take the steps towards that happiness. Who I need in my life and all the things I need to do to get there! I will pray you get the answers soon and the ones you have been waiting for to move forward with the build! I hope you know anytime any day or night ANYTHING in my power y’all need I’ve got you. I love you all so very much and I truly hate to see you so visibly stressed! It will all work out the way it’s supposed to ❤! Please remember that you three help more of us out here in more ways than you can ever imagine and sometimes you really do have to hand it all over to God & distract yourself with other things to keep from going crazy! Easier said than done but let go and let God!

I have no place to give advice, but you asked and I care. I am personally practicing taking time each day to be in the state of gratitude. Maybe this could help. You seem to be enjoying the rebuild but it's just not happening as smoothly or as quickly as you want. Maybe the trick is to give up the emotions tied to the few things bringing you down and enjoy the ride from the grand scale of it all. BTW I have done a lot of construction projects personally and in business. No one ever promised easy, it rarely ever is. But you end up learning a lot. 😂

Hi, my opinion only. Sell the barn and the lot and keep the home you have now. Go travel while your bodies are still young. Make videos of vintage markets around the world like Italy or Thailand and your travels. Too much money and time invested in such a large “property” for what? You could sell on eBay from anywhere in the world. You are a business man and you could do anything you set your mind to do.
My husband says, timing ! Do something new! What is your gut feeling telling you and Alli? ☮️ Yvette

“I guess our minds will always be at war with our reality. We are what we think about. I always remember that even when times are tough, I can still walk, talk, and have all my senses intact. I experience no physical pain, and that includes my entire family-everyone is alive and healthy. This grounds me. All of my goals will come in their own time, maybe sooner or later, but every now and then, I do lose patience and have similar thoughts. However, I keep reminding myself of what I said at the beginning.” 😊🌟

I was going to make a completely different comment, but since you brought up the aforementioned.... I think it's perfectly normal to feel sad when things in life don't go well for so long. Hi Ryan, I feel your pain with the home stuff. I rehabbed several places, including my own. In my own home now...I bought this home with a bad well...Yep. And the country approved it! And do you know how hard it is to try to prove it was BAD when you bought it!? Even though I had a neighbor testify that the people who sold us the home had a garden hose borrowing water from the neighbors...it was like everyone knew but they LIKED them (or were afraid of them) and didn't know us (the new owners) so were afraid to speak up on our behalf. I still have a bad well...for decades. And I wanted a garage, but you speak of variances? I heard about them for many years from my ex husband, an architect when we were together so I just did't even try for the garage. I was working full-time and I felt I could not handle that headache. BUT I love the property...even with all its issues. Its peaceful and quiet and beautiful. So, I decided to put up with it...I buy fresh drinking water from the store, and I reuse my bathwater for flushing the toilet and I installed a 500 gallon vessel to hold the water from the bad well (it only produces water in winter. At times I run completely out and that really really sucks. And if I ever want to sell? I guess will have to find a cash buyer. But I believe that everything happens for a reason. None of us are so special we will never have problems. I find that belief has gotten me through a lot. I share with you now as maybe it will be something for you to think about too. For me, someday maybe I'll get my new well...and I'll be as happy as when I graduated college. Speaking of properties and loans, have you ever watched the movie "The Big Short"? Its a comedy thriller ...I was totally fascinated. Ok Thanks for sharing Ryan. Yes, life isn't always perfect no matter how hard you try to set things up to be that way...I know.

I told my father in law that my whole life has been based on failure. Lol. But it's about how hard you can be kicked and get back up again. I feel like at this point in my life. I expect shit to go wrong immediately and when it does work out, it's like a gift. And I don't worry about the small things anymore. They usually will work themselves out and enjoy what's in front of me. Good luck to you all. Keep your head up and keep on trucking. Your videos are great! Thank you

I always told my 3 boys when they were growing up that we have to live our lives going forward, but it’s always in retrospect that we realize why the failures happened- 98% of the time it’s because something better was waiting for us, it’s just difficult sometimes to keep the faith during those rough times. I am now a firm believer in the law of attraction- our thoughts determine our reality. I love your attitude, keep up the great mind set! 😌

I am sorry for the recent stress. Big projects can be so stressful! You are smart to prioritize your mental health! I have had depression my whole life and exercise is helpful to me too. Particularly weight lifting. Also, recommend being mindful of what your mind consumes. Social media can be so toxic. I listen to comedy or music , and that helps! Prioritize being kind to each other. What about a fun challenge like the world's longest yard sale or taking $200 and seeing how long it takes to make $10000? Manageable but fun new things. Praying for you all!

    Ryan,
Firstly I enjoy the Car Chronicles.
We have all started a new project or job and it just flows. Sure there are the usual bumps in the road but all in all it just seems meant to be. If you see this project like one that you are constantly banging your head against a brick wall, it isn't fun any more, and you can no longer see the benefits of completing it I would re-think it.
    I hope this helps.
    Blessings,
    K.T.
P.S. I purchased a small space for a gourmet deli and managed the build out. Anytime your dealing with the city and permits its a freaking nightmare. 4 months became 11 in no time.

I’ve completely been feeling like this for 3 years… you are not alone. I developed a nervous system disorder (POTS) after Covid at only 35. It feels like my life is just falling apart and the enemy is constantly after our family. It’s taken my ability to do so many of the things that I love, my ability to work, so much of my health, and our debt free status is gone. We are drowning in medical bills. Some people tell me that I should be thankful that I’m not paralyzed. My point is, just because someone’s problem is bigger than yours doesn’t minimize yours. I feel like I was given this path for a reason and so were you. Don’t stay in the pit too long and keep your head up!! The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy… and I have to reset my mind daily and remind myself that he’s not welcome in our home anymore. Maybe you could do more of the style videos that you like? Maybe make a spin off channel like ADHDAVE does?! Cooking, travel, day in the life, whatever you enjoy…. You already have a huge base that would follow you.

Really like the car chronicles type feel. I’m sorry you’ve been going through stuff and it feels like a lot of shame to be stressed about “first world problems” when you feel like life otherwise has been so good. But as I’ve achieved maybe a bit more success than the average reseller and gotten closer to that millionaire status myself I’ve also seen that life problems definitely don’t stop and I’ve also felt a similar type of shame around my problems. Will definitely be praying 🙏
