- In this video Joran discusses his history, birth, design philosophy and Joranalogue modular range while Boris gives us a banging hit of analog modular techno to round things off. This was part of the DivKid Discussion stage from Machina Bristronica 2023.
The 2024 Machina Bristronica event is coming on October 12th and 13th and we'll have new talks and discussions at this years event. Tickets and information here // machinabristronica.uk

Great company, great modules, great people! Many thanks to that wonderful crew to bring such great analogue designs to the world.
Go Belgium!
There's such a good team at Machina Bristronica making the whole thing happen and of course a great team at Joranalogue making their things happen.
Love Orbit 3, a love letter to analog noise. The coolest thing in modular to me is the LFO, how it can mix not just voltages, but whole processes within synthesis - wherever amplitude is used (everywhere), its process can be mixed with any other process. By turning a noise oscillator into a complex LFO - with 5 modulation inputs, 3 pairs of phase related modulation outs, plus a handy gate out - this company made me a fan of its philosophy of going extra hard on circuit design, and deepened my appreciation and passion for synths. Thank you for helping spread this important message❤
I still haven't tried the Orbit 3! I need to.
@DivKid that's actually shocking! It's fantastic and so versatile from low to audio rates. You need to give it a go.
@@DivKidohhhhh I would try to steal all of your ideas, as usual. I can’t wait.😂
@stolencat63 ... I know, I'll have a word with myself about it! :)
steal away, I love sharing this stuff and hope it leads to great results and new ideas built open them.
I’d love to see more cool utility designs from Joranalogue. Though I am that weird exception… I got into modular because of Befaco Rampage (the god-king of utilities)
Hey DIV if you have time do you think you could do a video on your favorite vcos or fx and why you love them. Curious to know what your favorites are nowadays. Thanks man.
Excellent
thank you
17:29 i feel you, thats what it is all about ❤
it's very 'modular' building blocks to make the things you want in a custom fashion.
