This is a great video. I have a friend teaching me how to hunt and wanted a simple explanation of one of the many available systems. Kind of want to keep it minimalist. I'm going all in on Huntworth after watching this and cross-referencing the reviews on your gear. Now I just need to narrow it down to the line - Durham, Torington, or Elkin. Thanks for all the information.
I’m 6’ 185 with a 33/34inch waste in most pants and I ordered the Medium Talls for pants I don’t layer under and they fit perfect on me. On pants I layer under I ordered them in Large
So the Torrington is a nice mid weight , but they make the Elkin line that is windproof, so a little better for those cool breezy days, when it’s not quite late season temps.
@@beyondahobbyoutdoors if you were going all out, would you buy the elkin line? I’m trying to buy as few pieces as possible to complete a set. I don’t mind buying their premium line, they just don’t explain very well the differences in the names of garments. There is so many names.
Spending lots of money on polyester is not smart way to spend money just because you want “x” brand. Lots of options for base and mid layers for fraction of the cost and will do the same job.
Oh geez. First video of yours I've seen. Big fan of the way you put it together. I'll be buying Huntworth at Labor Day. Thanks.
I got the heatboost last season and couldn’t believe how warm it kept me. Literally had to vent jacket and pants a few times to let heat out.

Awesome man! This stuff has been working great for me and I hope it does for you! Good luck out there!
Super useful!! Thanks bud!
“Safety first kids” 🤣🤣🤣
What size pants did you get and how well do they fit? I’m about 5’9” and 175lb and I ordered the medium and they are massive on me

You said the Torrington pants are not their top line… can I ask what is?

@thomasredloh4219 I would definitely go with the Elkins for your mid weight outers.
Have you tried ASIO?
I have not. Haven’t looked into it too much. Always willing to try things out though.
What high end Camo did you ditch?
First Lite, found it wasn’t as high end as the price tag showed.
