Thanks for the great video of the QantasLink A220, arrived in Sydney Wednesday about noon, since then has moved to Canberra and has done a couple of flights to Melbourne and back. Due to go into service 1st quarter of 2024. 👍🇦🇺
Wonderful that you caught the QANTASLink A220 on its one-and-only visit to YVR, and the Air India with the traditional Indian-shaped window decals. The QL livery is beautiful, especially against the blue sky on departure! (Not seen here, but AI's new livery for their A350 looks great IMO). Hopefully you will catch one of those in Vancouver in the next few years. Thanks so much for your great videos this past year. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you and all of your viewers! Onward to 2024!
Seeing that aircraft here sure is a rare sight. Hoping the rest of the fleet passes through as well! AIs nee livery does look good, it'll be cool to see that here. All the best and Happy Holidays!
Fantastic footage of the spectacular planes in Vancouver...That QantasLink plane had a quick turn around, but you were on top of it.. Great stuff as always !!
The turnaround wasn't quick. It spent the night in Vancouver, 24 hours for crew rest. The entire delivery trip took 4 days. Also overnight stops at Honolulu and Nadi (Fiji).
Great video. Was curious about the routing of how an A220 on delivery gets from YVR to SYD, so I looked it up. From YVR on to Honolulu (PHNL), from Honolulu on to Nadi, Fiji (NFFN), from Nadi on to Sydney. The longest leg is Honolulu to Nadi, at 6 hours 47 minutes. I am wondering if they have to install temporary auxiliary fuel tank(s) to get the 6:47 flight time. I would assume so.
Wow, what an amazing video! It's not every day we get to witness such a rare sight at YVR. The A220 looks absolutely stunning in its indigenous livery, showcasing QantasLink's commitment to celebrating diversity and culture!
Que extraño ver un A220 de Qantas por Vancouver, no? Pero averiguando un poco te das cuenta que es un vuelo de entrega a Sidney con escala en Vancouver, Honolulu y Nadi.
I Never flew on the Airbus A220 but maybe in 2024 summer I'm Planning to take a Trip to New York maybe on Delta Airlines and maybe the Aircraft for the Trip is an A220-100 or A220-300. I love Your Videos and Keep it up my Friend 🎉❤👍😃 10/10 Video
I'm more interested in a green Qantas plane than its fleet model although I'm aware that A220 is new. However, I don't like its design. Yak! I'm dots-phobic! You know what I mean...
Dot painting is at the heart of our First Nations People’s art. If you grow up with it, as we have, you see and appreciate the beauty, and also the way they create the colours from the earth.
I paid a few visits to Sydney and its vicinity before, so I know that's their indigenous art. But that's is not a point. Whatever that is, I'm just allergic to swarms of dots! I'm even scared of three lenses of an iPhone. @@AUmarcus

What a beauty, that is one awesome looking livery on the A220! That must be a lot of fun for the pilots who get to ferry this down to Australia.
Ensamblado en Mirabel (Laurentides), Quebec.
I wonder how many stops they have to make. I'm sure the A220 cannot fly nonstop from YVR to SYD.
@@AT-nq6cu
Honolulu, Nadi (Fiji) then Sydney.
@@AUmarcus That's what I thought. Thank you for that.
She sure is! You can tell the pilots are having fun by their transmissions between ATC

Wow! Beautiful new livery and colors! Well done Quantas!

Very nice. Thanks 😊
Qantas knows how to put on some special livery on their aircrafts!
They sure do!
Aircraft is the plural, no S required.

The A220 is a great aircraft from a pilot’s and passenger’s sense…
Boeing could have bought this plane . . . but they chose to sue it instead.
superb mister
Thanks!
Amazing catch!
Thanks bud!
Nice catch, that one helluva long flight from Australia even with refueling in Honolulu.
Thanks! It sure is eh.
I love the hawknose A220, make more please...
Gorgeous. Sick livery.
Sure is!
Nice catch eyetrapper, shure is a stunning livery on this plane. Wish I was there.
Thank you! She's beautiful that's for sure. Happy Holidays!
Great catch.
The livery on the QANTAS A220 is just stunningly beautiful.
Thanks! Happy Holidays
Awesome catch buddy. Stunning livery!
Thanks bud! Happy Holidays
Exellent Video ❤❤
Thank you!
@@eyetrapper Yout welcome Brothers 🙏🙏🙏
Great video👍
Thank you!
Being from NZ of course I have a special bias for Air New Zealand. But still, their 777s and 787 look beautiful.
One of the few things QANTAS does right is the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander plane colour themes. It has been a long time between drinks.
Good job.
Thanks!
Straight from beautiful Montreal. Heading on to Sydney ? Via Honolulu and Apia.
Sydney via Honolulu and Nadi (Fiji).
Quite a trip!
VERY RARE CATCH!

Những chiếc máy bay xinh đẹp của Qantas, Rất tuyệt vời. Quá đỉnh cao trí tuệ 👍✋.
Qantas link 👍👍👍👍👍
😁👌
It’s in my city of Canberra in Australia. I got magnificent footage of it
Perfect!
Gorgeous capture Eye Trapper! Truly amazing. Mostly loved the Air India 777 departure it was really beautiful 😍
Glad you enjoyed the video! Happy Holidays
Just fantastic you were able to catch this Qantas link A220 this livery is fabulous such a long way for this bird. How long did she stay in YVR??
Sure was a cool catch here. It stayed overnight, then it left around 11am
I think this is the best livery in their fleet ❤
Nice capturing 😍 😊
Along with Yam Dreaming. Happy Holidays!
Really epic video! Love the plane and livery! Liked!
Many thanks! All the best.
Where did you film the inbound flights? i know what runway and which direction. I have tried to get good site lines and yours is amazing
Canada sends Aus its best airplane. enjoy.
Nice. I was there too

Awesome. 1 question.
Which camera is best suited for plane spotting.
All depends on budget and what suits you best. Watch some YT videos.
Thanks@@eyetrapper
I just cant get my head around this tail on Qantas new colour scheme. So used to the red roo. But it looks lovely in the sunlight
It's something different which I like. A one-off.
5:51 Es uno de los diseños más bonitos que he visto 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

It seems so out of place at YVR…
Is this the best we can come up with. I thought we voted no at the referendum
It's not a Qantas plane if it doesnt have a red tail.
Bare bones no interior fittings.
QANTAS is now a political organisation and will suffer the consequences of playing in that space.
Goodbye allen joyce …. Your disinterest and inaction is both appalling and appreciated.
booo no australia flag 👎
not a fan of the qantas link livery.
It's a special indigenous art livery, only on that one aircraft.
i think it looks great, also its a one-off so the rest will sport the standard livery
not a fan of your opinion

Looks cheap and nasty.
They’ve even got the Abbo colours on the plane!! 🧐🧐🤨🤨
