I still think the emperor hid the lost primarchs and their legions to be used again in the future. He then pulled an Indian Jones “TOP MEN!” Whenever someone thought to ask about them so the powers of chaos would have a helluva time finding them.
Nah that's not really how 40k works, basically all space travel and warp protection would fail, the golden palace would be invaded by demons almost instantly and theoretically some bad shit would happen to all Imperium Psychers
This would quite literally be 40k End Times material, and I don’t think anyone is looking forward to the new “revelations” & “character closures” (ie potential character assassinations) that this would entail..
This Malcador story is the creepiest. I'm working my way through all your videos. It's endless excitement and inspiration. I'm mainly into Warhammer because of you and you're how I enjoy the hobby. I'm thankful you exist! I already know I'll go back to watch all these videos again. I already do cuz I often fall asleep to them 😂
I could imagine Malcador confiding his darkest secrets through text and storing it with the Terminus Decree. After all, if the decree is being used, who cares if the secrets get out because it's probably the end of the galaxy anyway.
The veiled region is the place where all the pleasure worlds of Emperor and Sigilite are while the rest doesnt realise that the whole Imperium is but a prank.
I believe one of Malcador's darkest secrets is that he has a half Eldar child out in the cosmos and even Big E doesn't know it exists. Also, thank you for putting in SO much work for the fans! We salute you fine sir!🫡🫡🫡
In all honesty Malcador was always my favorite character in 40k. Not because I know a lot about him but simply because he was so damn powerful. Also the way he died was just... I can't even put it into proper word. The man is just simply the best.
The best is......definitely not a word that could be used to describe him. He was cool and all but like....did you watch this video about what he did to someone hundreds of times over just so he could feel a lil better? He is definitely super fucked up and kind of a tad far from "simply the best". Just.......wha?
@@Pragabond sry I was obviously a little to general. I mean find me a character in 40k that is not completely effed up and responsible for a bunch of war crimes. What I meant is the way he died, the amount of absolute dedication to the emperor and what he stands for, that is what makes him the best for me. Though you are right, the word best just doesn't work in that context. Sry English is not my first language and sometimes I wanna say something but can't really find the words. Also I freely admitted I know probably too little about Malcador.
For the war of the false primarch its good to remember there's a book. Were a blood angels grows wings and becomes primarch like. Starts believing their the reincarnation of sanguinius, turn out its was fate weaver trying to turn the blood angels to chaos.
It's in the novellas _Deus Encarmine_ and _Deus Sanguinius-_- part of _The Blood Angels Omnibus_ written by James Swallow. Or- read the whole _Brother Rafen Saga_ written by the same author.
BTW- it wasn't a Fate Weaver... it was a full-on _Zeetchian Demon_ working through a corrupted member of the Ordo Hereticus. (Don't worry- you find this out pretty early in the story, so it's not much of a Spoiler...)
Malcador is, by far and away, my favorite character in 40k. Both good and evil, an incredible being that understands what incredible deeds are possible through will and necessity. I appreciate this lore Wes.
In Magisterium, Valdor or maybe one of the other custodians reflects on having to take out another sorcerer on the level of Magnus. Maybe one of the missing primarchs? Cuz we all know that each primarch role is redundant and we only have one "sorcerer" primarch in Magnus.
The Gods of Chaos were the fall of the imperium at the end, but not the only possibility for that to happen. There are more danger's out there, equal to the depths of the Warp, which still lay dormant, at least for the moment. The Tyranids, the Necrons or the Ghoul stars, just some examples for what lurks in the Dark. One day, when Chaos is thriving back, something else will take it's place as the arch enemy to our existence.
There's honestly people are less monsters than Vulkan since I mean....dude did still do a buncha genocides. And not like counter genocides or provoked genocides just straight up Xeno is Xeno gotta genocide. I do think its accurate to say he was a monster among monsters in a lot of ways. Definitely someone who is fucked up even by most 40k character standards. Like yeah everyone is real shitty and kinda evil but just HEARING about the kind of fucked up evil he is drove a man he BUILT for the job into killing himself hundreds of times over. Even hearing the worst atrocities committed by whole fascist regimes doesn't really inspire that in me so I shudder to think of how bad it has to be for a clone you custom made for withstanding horrible shit to want to tap out of living.
Maybe the veiled region was the place where the rangdan xenocides occurred and with how heavily psychic they are they quarantined the area especially since it was the dark angels that fought them and how super secret they are
Your 40k mysteries videos are the best. 40k's setting is so over the top brutal that things like Chaos and all the xenos factions seem a little mundane. The real creepy stuff is the unknown, the poorly explained, and the things that avoid the limelight.
Could the false Primarch just be a missed Sensei? One so powerful his Psyker aura had a similar effect to a Primarch's aura, or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure Senseis have been completely purged from the lore, but they were a thing once.
Waiting for the day you cover the Angel's Redemptor Short Stories. They found a supposed "piece" of the Emperor after his fight with Horus. Then the Chapter Secluded themselves and have not left their Monastery... is a wild one Wes.
Any immortal thats been alive that long has to have some skeletons in their closet. And it's not like Malcador sat there twidling his thumbs as the millenea went by.
Well the full story would just be Warcrime simulator 30K but we'll 100% never get it all if we even get like tiny scraps beyond what we have now. Maybe lil hints or something but his past is supposed to be horrific monstrous and unknown because I doubt anything could really live up to the kind of shit Malcador has clearly done. And if it DOES live up to it....well that will just be a depressing and soul crushing read. No one will come out of that happy they read it I'm sure
I find that his stories are kinda simple what can he tell em he started a assassins guild well multiple he uses humans as experiments if he didn’t he could’ve never made the clone or helped whit the primearchs or grey knights then the chaos gods or the terra prisons were custodes stand guard sorry but none of it seem suicide worthy humans must become mentally super weak couse i wouldnt kill myself just couse malcador needs a unload i would love those stories look forward too them this clone seems weak minded if someone sat me down and told me who killed jfk or all the other secrets sorry but i wouldnt kill myself what kinda weak bs is that

Areas such as The Veiled Region offer a vast amount of novel and lore wealth potential, anything can lurk there. For example, maybe a certain Night lord first captain disappeared there, etc etc. The list of possible stories and such are endless.
I kind of thought that the False Primarch was an allusion to the events involving Rafen and his brother from the Blood Angels trilogy but sending the Flesh Tearers and Charnel Guard against them in that situation wouldn't make sense. It would make sense for it to be covered up though given just how those events came to pass.
Love these and love your content! Has there been anything recent regarding "The Old Ones"? I can't find anything modern in 40k and get that they're this ambiguous species for a reason, but I always found them fascinating in the Lizardman/Seraphon lore
Why was Malcador the Hero needed to fulfill the darker roles in the Imperium when the emperor without him destroyed the last church & committed so many atrocities. But in the time of the Imperium it's Malcador everyone looks at as the schemer
Well that's actually a horrible thought... because the things the emperor did were nearly nothing compared to what malcador got up to. By the time of the actual imperial bits seem to have started to leak. Given the story we just got of the sigilite working hard to keep himself sane he was dealing with some truely "beyond morality or sanity" level kind of stuff.
The mere fact that it can objectively be called a sin should tip you off to that Sacrificing a world to save others, a regret but reasoned - this seems like atrocities against their own people or just life in general for the pure benefit of the Emperor and the heads of the Imperium - Perhaps this is why Valdor seems to have turned against the Emperor now just like all the others@@00yiggdrasill00
To be fair I think every sane person looks at Malcador and the Emperor as the same level of schemer Malcador just looks and acts the part more. They both have pretty equal levels of scheming.
The veiled Region sounds like the Necrons therein managed to apply the dampening effect of the Cadian pylons on a larger scale... or maybe it was basically GW's first draft of what would later become the Pariah Nexus?!?
I would love to see if you did a small video about kaldor draigo, I always love to watch your videos, they have given me a look into a new hobby and pulled me out of a bad time, thanks for making these videos
Thank you for all the amazing videos, Wes! This is sort of a spooky story suggestion, sort of a lore suggestion but it would be really cool to hear your take on Valgûl and Oltyx at the end of "The Twice-Dead King: Reign."
In my mind, the canon voice of Malcador is Jeremy Irons. Imagining this dialogue being spoken by him, adds a lot to his underlying, authority and power. Maybe AI can make a proof of concept.
The pentarchy of blood lesser known members need a vid, the red talons sound insanely cool hopefully like a destroyer cultof the iron hands I imagine Malcador definitely told that guy an enuncian low tier God speech
Requiem Infernal is my fav 40k novel (even though I'm pretty sure it's not ENITRELY cannon lol) and that gets to Hellraiser levels of insanity a few times.
I reckon the Veild Region may be holding some ancient Men of Iron that could literally be floating in space dormant, and Big E just doesnt want to wake up whatever is sleeping there
Maybe nitpicking but isn't Constantin Valdor The Emperors right hand? Still good video. I kinda feel GW have given up on Malcador since there's almost no chance of bringing him back. Hell even Sanguinious has a better chance of coming back with what The Yellow king is doing.
Even knowledge can bear the taint of the Warp in 40k. Wouldn't be surprised if many of the secrets Malcador shared also carried a metaphysical burden, ones which literally gnawed at Wyntor's soul. Hopefully Malcador at least spared him the knowledge that his soul would be claimed by Slaanesh to sate his gluttonous appetite for Aelderi before his end.
Hey wes,i feel like the veiled region,is a place where a hyper advanced xeno race is,too powerful to fight during the great crusade,so like the mechanicus the emperor made a deal with them but since their not human instead of a treaty he basically made a you keep to yours and ill keep to mine and made a cease fire with them and let them keep whatever territory they wanted there and avoided a costly and probably imperium ending war

I still think the emperor hid the lost primarchs and their legions to be used again in the future. He then pulled an Indian Jones “TOP MEN!” Whenever someone thought to ask about them so the powers of chaos would have a helluva time finding them.
If the emperor dies, the solar system is immediately overrun by daemons, so I say go for it
The imperium would screech to a halt because the golden throne is the only thing allowing navigators to traverse the warp with any certainty
We salute you fine sir!🫡🫡🫡
well Rogal Dorn has like legion biological children running around
Malcador did describe the Aelder he cloned "a kindred soul".
Sir, you are fast becoming my favourite Lawmaster. With the consistency and frequency of these lore breakdowns ! We are truly blessed by the Emperor
Lore* master
Lawn master!
It just sounds better
Lawnmaster > Warmaster
Corps Emperor. Du\mb f\u\ck couldn't even take care of his own kids. So much for a super intelligent being
In all honesty Malcador was always my favorite character in 40k. Not because I know a lot about him but simply because he was so damn powerful. Also the way he died was just... I can't even put it into proper word. The man is just simply the best.
Report this account above me. It's a scam account.
@AdolfHitler-wo1myhis soul was torn into oblivion when he sat up on the Golden Throne
@@Pragabond Compared to Chaos and Dark Eldar, he's the jovial old man. Learn to distinguish the lesser of two evils.
The war of the false Primarch sounds a lot like Alpha Legion shenanigans.
Brother thank you so much for this content. I never knew how theraputic warhammer lore was till i found your channel❤❤
GWAR is from the Grim Dark universe and Oderus Urungus is one of the forgotten Primarchs.
It explains why they HATE the so-called "Maker".
He'd obviously be a traitor primarch.
Need a long-form video on all the areas of the galaxy that the Imperium just refuses to go. This place, Eye of terror, Malstrom, Halo Stars, ect.
The Veil Regions seem very interesting, hearing more of such places would be awesome. especially if they are around important locations.
In Magisterium, Valdor or maybe one of the other custodians reflects on having to take out another sorcerer on the level of Magnus. Maybe one of the missing primarchs? Cuz we all know that each primarch role is redundant and we only have one "sorcerer" primarch in Magnus.
God damn Wes, pumping these out like a mad lad. You keep recording, I'll keep watching.

I would like a series or playlist that goes through all warp storms in the galaxy, cause and effect.
I love all the dark stuff you’ve been doing Wes. There’s so much grim I didn’t know about!
"He's a monster". Well, in the WH40K setting, beside Vulkan and Isha, who isn't ?
Farsight
Not to be a “that guy”, but Sanguinius, and the entirety of the Lamenters chapter come to mind.
I can't explain how much I love this series Wes, keep it up! you never fail to make banger videos.
Your a king! Malcador is my fav character from the setting!
I bet Malcador will make a comeback in 40K. I got the feeling Malcador and Empie "rebooted" humanity a few times already...
Problem is thanks to the golden throne he cant come back
Could the false Primarch just be a missed Sensei? One so powerful his Psyker aura had a similar effect to a Primarch's aura, or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure Senseis have been completely purged from the lore, but they were a thing once.
Rip sensei wu
Waiting for the day you cover the Angel's Redemptor Short Stories. They found a supposed "piece" of the Emperor after his fight with Horus. Then the Chapter Secluded themselves and have not left their Monastery... is a wild one Wes.
Any immortal thats been alive that long has to have some skeletons in their closet. And it's not like Malcador sat there twidling his thumbs as the millenea went by.
I just finished yesterday’s Grimdark. Already another, I love these… great videos man.
I always hear stories of malcoder but never hear much but his actual life. Would love a video focusing on the full story of the man
Well the full story would just be Warcrime simulator 30K but we'll 100% never get it all if we even get like tiny scraps beyond what we have now.
This video was so good I didn't want it to end 😂. I love the mystery videos, they are so intriguing!
That makes it sound like Malcador did a body-swap with that last confidant when his original body turned to ash
Malcador is the bestest bro ever.
Malcabro.

The False Primarch might have been one of the rumored prototype Primarch. Reference 40K Thereys. I'm not surprised with Malcador sounds about right in soooo many ways!!! I'm aware that there's miss spelling in what I wrote down. Thanks for telling me something new about 40K!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Keep up the great work! Thanks for enlightening us on the Grim Dark Universe
My guy, you are spoiling us! Thanks for diving deep into the forgotten depths of 40k lore to intrigue and delight us
Love these and love your content!

That's exactly why. With Malcador doing his dirty work, it's easier for the Emperor to look as if his hands are clean.
The mere fact that it can objectively be called a sin should tip you off to that
Sacrificing a world to save others, a regret but reasoned - this seems like atrocities against their own people or just life in general for the pure benefit of the Emperor and the heads of the Imperium - Perhaps this is why Valdor seems to have turned against the Emperor now just like all the others@@00yiggdrasill00
It is a false separation anyway, Malcador and Neoth are two faces of the same coin and one does little or nothing without the knowing of the other
To be fair I think every sane person looks at Malcador and the Emperor as the same level of schemer Malcador just looks and acts the part more.
They both have pretty equal levels of scheming.
The "False Primarch":
I know for fact, inside information, that this was not a Primarch, rather a carnivorous banana.
"The memoires of an old man."
A porn library, likely.
So many Videos!! You spoil us my good sir❤ thank you for everything you do! You rock and your hard work really shows in every video!
Malcadors secret was: It was he... it was always he... that was trying to reach you about your Knight Castellan's extended warranty.
I would love if you could talk about my favourite 40k race, the Rak'Gol, but there isn't much known about them.
That's Malcador the Hero to you citizen!
The background melody just sinks in with the lore and it's just peak🤧
The veiled Region sounds like the Necrons therein managed to apply the dampening effect of the Cadian pylons on a larger scale... or maybe it was basically GW's first draft of what would later become the Pariah Nexus?!?
I would love to see if you did a small video about kaldor draigo, I always love to watch your videos, they have given me a look into a new hobby and pulled me out of a bad time, thanks for making these videos

WES IS THE VOICE OF THE WARHAMMER APP!! that’s so cool and it played right before his vid lol
Thank you for all the amazing videos, Wes! This is sort of a spooky story suggestion, sort of a lore suggestion but it would be really cool to hear your take on Valgûl and Oltyx at the end of "The Twice-Dead King: Reign."
I swear Malcador is the defintion of ''I will do anything but go to therapy.''

Holy shit I love your voice for Malcador its kind of funny but also serious and probably what he sounds like.😂😂😂
False Primarch: above average sized Alpha Legionnaire: they were always big anyway
Letsss gooooo new grim dark videos... I love this format... This Feels like a weekly mystery, I love it.
The False Primy was a Thunder Bro.
Malcador: "yeah so I've been on some real R34 Eldar stuff"
Wyntor: "what the fuck?"
In my mind, the canon voice of Malcador is Jeremy Irons. Imagining this dialogue being spoken by him, adds a lot to his underlying, authority and power. Maybe AI can make a proof of concept.
Or Charles Dance.
Wow, Wes is really pumping them out. Keep it up man.
a video about the Mythos Angelica Mortis and the Astartes Praeses would be cool
Malcador was so shady and ruthless that he makes Emperor seem like a saint!
The pentarchy of blood lesser known members need a vid, the red talons sound insanely cool hopefully like a destroyer cultof the iron hands I imagine
Malcador definitely told that guy an enuncian low tier God speech
From this moment on, he shall be known as Malcador the Hero.
Requiem Infernal is my fav 40k novel (even though I'm pretty sure it's not ENITRELY cannon lol) and that gets to Hellraiser levels of insanity a few times.
Bro has been on a mad one with all these quality uploads.
"Grabs popcorn and blankie"
"Leman... is still alive?" - Dorn
I reckon the Veild Region may be holding some ancient Men of Iron that could literally be floating in space dormant, and Big E just doesnt want to wake up whatever is sleeping there
Ever thought of doing a video of Guilliman and Yvraine? Breaking down where the meme came from, or could be a list of meme romances in 40k.
I’m convinced Malcador was Merlin at one point and the Emporer Arthur.
Maybe nitpicking but isn't Constantin Valdor The Emperors right hand? Still good video. I kinda feel GW have given up on Malcador since there's almost no chance of bringing him back. Hell even Sanguinious has a better chance of coming back with what The Yellow king is doing.
I would love to have a full run down on the Ultramar sector. From the planets they own to there planet defences please
Oh these were super spicy. I would love to hear more about these!
OOOO, another mystery to find out about as we go down the line in 40K. Look forward to finding out.
