In my opinion she wasn't misunderstood. She was an extremely judgmental person who thought she was better than everyone. But towards the end she became likeable

And the best thing is their dynamic: Wendy will challenge him and take him down a notch just by how blase she is with him (unlike ‘look at the genes of this man’ Zama, lol) while Chris will be another person in her corner alongside Tahira. We’ve seen snippets of that already in s2. Now we need a s3 and a proper kiss scene.

Chris and Wendy are Endgame♥️ I love the way thier chemistry has developed this season .
One thing I didn't like about the last scene is how they showed their relationship. I genuinely feel like they could've done much better if they showed how they got to kissing. Like a heartfelt conversation leading to them actually falling for each other then start kissing. Now in the series they made it look like a hookup, and when I tell I was so bummed. Like tell their story, don't run over it.
Feel the exact same way. I was actually hoping they wouldn’t have kissed this season just for more buildup for season 3. Hate when writers do that especially how they did it :/

Wendy is my favorite character because she is the one I can relate too the most. The smart, ambitious, mini civil rights leader.. LOVE HER!! I actually liked her pairing with Chris because of the whole opposites attract plus she can give him stability and he can make her loosen up.

Same! On my (many) rewatches of their scenes, I kept noticing that was a thing: Reece interupting them. Hope it doesn't mean anything. Jk, if Chris wanted to be with Reece, he would have hit her up already. But this pairing has taken over my life, I'm obsessed and need more. Season 3 when? They better give us a build up to a kiss scene.

Is it the one where he says let’s swap well-known African figures in history cos he knows how much she loves a raised fist? I saw someone else comment elsewhere that they also sensed the chemistry between them early on (I think _they_ meant season 1 though) and I’m just surprised because I honestly didn’t see where they were going until about episode 6 of s2, lol. Or at least I never believed the show would go there. But they have and I am shipping these two hard. Best couple and best chemistry in the show, hands down.

In s3 they fucked up their relationship💀 why build them up throughout s2 if ur going to ruin the relationship the next ep? 😭 it doesnt even make sense... why did they put so many moments with chris and wendy and their obvious feelings for eachother, if ur going to make chris replace her easily? and u could tell 1 ep after she leaves, the new guy got introduced and i knew they were going to throw out wendy. Its just soo unnecesary. I wouldve prefered if they made wendy and chris never confess their feelings for eachother and wendy would go do her thing and then come back and then chris and her restart their relationship in s4 and confess their crushes on eachother. They dismissed the whole wendy x chris storyline so easily , seems like lazy writing.
