Who's loving this song 2020? Take me back to the 1980's and let me live it all again. This music gives me goosebumps just thinking about living back then and having this music on the radio all day.
80's were a defining moment (time) for many. Songs take us back to people, places, and a time. This song came out when I was getting over a previous relationship (I wouldn't call it getting over but it lingered). Songs that take us back to that point in time will always do that. You have to wonder though if the person you were with at the time thinks the say way when they hear it.
Strange how this is the first time that I've heard this song. Did it get any radio play back then? Awesome song but definitely has a "Harden My Heart" vibe.
@@JohnSmith-gq9gn You're right it didn't get much airplay but it was my fav off the album. (Probably because I hadn't heard it a million times). I saw them on tour with Elton John and again with Night Ranger. They were really good. 👍I think they opened for Linda Ronstadt too among others.
Another great song by QuarterFlash! Ground breaking songs that can't be rivaled by today's trash. Pure vocals, excellent musicians, super lyrics. I was so lucky to be listening to the radio in the 80's. QuarterFlash definitely gave me the right kind of love!!!
Just got back into listing to Quarterflash again they have have so many great songs in there catalog should of had a lot more top 40 singles and been bigger and Rindy killing it with the sax one of the most underrated bands of the 1980's
How did this song NOT become as big a hit as Harden My Heart? Quarterflash was Solid Gold. Rindy Ross with those big blue eyes, thick curly mane, blindingly beautiful smile and set of pipes was just smokin' hot. Hotter than train smoke! Oh yeah, and let's not forget that Sax work thrown in for good measure. Marv you were/are a lucky man! Where's MY Rindy with that "Right Kind Of Love"?
@@dawoool Born in Spanish-speaking country, Estefan was able to be chosen by much more public. Isn't this her point of success? Of course but, Estefan she had the ability to compose songs. I should say that Rindy is unlucky than Estepan.
💯 This is the number one Quarterflash hit for me, no question. I remember I always used to get frustrated way back when the radio stations always played Harden my Heart instead. This is one of my all time favorite songs
Quarterflash we're so good and everyone jelled perfectly. Rindy's Amazing vocals & lead Sax playing. Marv's writing & playing. The band was Excellent. I wish they would have lasted longer. But they made a great impact on Rock during their Prime.

In 1982 I would have been a junior in high school. Listening to KC Kesam top 40 songs good old days. Anyone relate to it? I’ll be 55 in July 2020 they don’t make music like that anymore.
From what I read, Rindy will tell you that Marv was the catalyst behind Quarterflash. That said, she is AWESOME and Jack Charles is missed - Rich Gooch is HIGHLY underrated!
Yup, she talked about that on this podcast hosted by a fellow 80's star, Valerie Day; she was nervous about doing music full-time and Marv was the one pushing for it. Thank God they did!
My favorite song have the cd album. First time I’m seeing them. My favorite group the entire group guitarists backup singers drummer all of them are so fricking talented like all of them especially the lead singer.
Marv == great songwriter ! with his wife Rindy on vocals and sax -- what talent -- cant believe its been 30 years --- they are both in the sixties -- still perform - to a lesser scale --with a different style of music -- congrats to a couple of school teachers from Oregon !

It's between hard and impossible to predict the hit potential of a given song or recording.
The reason is simple........ she is married,

beiber n Miley are clowns , not in two life times will they every be comparable to Miss Rindy Ross
I much prefer her musicianship over theirs, as a matter of taste and interests.
great lead singer - pretty too .
Saw these guys open for Linda Ronstadt in Cleveland in 1983. That young lady can really do that sax.
Rindy's not available. You'll have to Find Another Fool to love you.
