I'm no expert but I don't think this mother is trying to hurt it but to teach it to follow her so its not in harm's way. As far as holding it down she might be teaching it to pacify itself and not be feeding all the time. I think maybe the baby hurts her to when she takes it from her. She feeds it plenty and never leaves it behind. 😊
There is no lesson being taught here. It’s another mother that doesn’t want to be a mother so takes it out on her offspring. Baby is only a couple days old. This baby should be in her arms feeding not scared, shaking, crying and being drug around! About the only animal that treats their offspring like this. Sad!
