Worried about Baháʼu'lláh's growing popularity and influence in Baghdad, the Shah of Persia arranges for Him to be exiled. Before leaving the city Baháʼu'lláh's spends 12 days in a garden He names Riḍván (Paradise). The events of these 12 days turn the crisis of His exile into a victory that is now celebrated by Baháʼí's around the world.
