So for audio editing you don't need anything high level. I looped music before using Audacity which is a relatively simple, free and lightwight audio editing software. You can zoom into the waveform of the audio to find specific beats and with this you can find the exact points of where the music loops.
You can export the audio there and import it then into lightworks or whatever video editing software you use to then render out the video.
