Keep in mind that shell damage is increased by overgrading your gunlance (ex. increases at 5.1 and 6.1, but not 5.2 or 6.2) and the artillery skill. If you're planning to play a full-burst playstyle, you'll want either the bone GL due to it being easy to increase the rarity of or a gunlance with normal shelling type. Rathian/Pink Rathian is a good bet due to stake building up poison.
Reload is okay. My only problem is how to fire all shell all of it in one shot like in the video. Keep swiping up? Swipe swipe hold tap? Tap tap tap hold tap? So many questions 🥲

The smash combo slight hold then swipe up > swipe up > tap that's the upthrust > smash > burst

Focus fasten your Shell Charge recoil down doesn't effect shelling.
