Hey man, i don't know if you still answer questions, but you said SHOOTING STAR is a must have for every archer, why its not in your Single Target bar ? You are using it in your PvP bar
Ahoy! Well simply because lances are faster, so they can provide better damage again a single target. Shooting star is more of a finisher, so I would just press F3 when I need it. Also it's far easier making 40-50 combo with lances because they have the same casting time so if your hand learns the rhythm it's easy.
Ahoy! Your main hand weapon (left hand, the one you see on the right side when you open inventory) determines the grade of that passive skill. Basically it increases your range by a fix +1, that is how far away your target can be when you cast a skill on it, and it gives increasing bonuses to magic attack, attack rate and critical rate based on the grade. The minimum is at "novice" grade (not wearing any weapons or wearing novice crystal/orb) and the maximum is (currently) at demonite.
do you skill grind on the dummy to have an early high skill rank or do you just do the quests? cause im currently having trouble surviving because i have low hp steal so i thought maybe an increase on the stats would help ? or do i just need better equipment? im currently level 80 also a force archer and its hard for me to survive in ruina station
We normally finish all the quest and they get you to about completer or maybe the beginning or transcender. It will still take some training dummy punching to get them to max. You definitely DO need HP steal, and I think it's worth sacrificing a ring slot for a HP steal ring (or force absorb with both HP and MP steal), or just using the bracelets of 1 of those BI mini-bosses that drop them, somewhere to the top of the map with those cat-like whatever things... sorry, don't remember the name, gonna check it the next time I'm playing. Those, + some vampiric earrings and you should be good to go for RS, just don't use skills with stun/down if you can't tank the entire wave of the buffaloes. Either knockback (I know it ruins the effort you put into luring), or if you do use stun/down, it should be you who moves before they come back to their senses.
Hello watchman great video as always! :) question here do you have any plans on making guide about mercenary? And also regarding extending slots on items cause I heard some items gets destroyed when you fail.

Well, right now my budget won't allow me to start worrying about those fancy new mercenaries... and I'm afraid in the foreseeable future I won't have enough alz for that, but if by some miracle (for example triple SEHH drop from a chest XD ) I'll be able to afford making them, I'll be sure to record it! As for the extending, as far as I know only the first 2 slots of bikes can destroy them. 3rd is added using slot extenders, and those have 100% success rate.

Well, the corrupted ones you get for practically free as long as you can find a party to kill Manticore, so why not? Arionell is awesome! Well, for her price you could probably buy several thousand SP pots but still... in the long run she's worth it especially if there's an item shop discount for her. The dungeon boss mercs are only helpful in party. The vampire guy has a nice party buff with more HP steal limit, as well as the one from FT1 with HP regen. They are worth collecting, but I wouldn't pay any "serious" price for them (more than 5kk or so). And those transcendence mercs... well I haven't had the pleasure, but they look epic.

That is the appearance of mithril grade bow. If you have any mithril orb/crystal equipped in your left hand, or one whose appearance is temporarily changed to mithril, it will look like that.
I feel like I'm resurrecting an old vid, but I had a question. What was in your Alt+9 and Alt+- keys on page 1 on f1? I'm trying to use your hotbar style too, it seems efficient. Also, do you happen to have a list anywhere of your skills and their levels and stuff? I'm new, just made an FA, this info has been helpful
Well, I don't have anything in particular there, just summon astral bike, and bm/aura on other pages. The only one in the "alt+" bar that I use with a key is healing, and I set its hotkey to R, E is for HP potion and W is for moving so it's quite close. The rest of the things on that bar, I click with mouse. As for a list of skills, no, I don't have one, but I can tell you all the skills are max level and I don't know if you watched the actual video, but the first 4 minutes is all about that.
Ah okay, yeah sorry. And thanks a bunch, I just see these two like consumable items that are always grayed out that IDK what they are being new, I suppose I'll figure it out. Thanks again for the guides by the way, as a new player this has been super helpful, it's really hard to find relevant, modern information on this game.
Oh you mean those. Those are the war supplies, vital gear and SP kit, or whatever their names are. They can only be used in mission wars, while you're not in combat. Sorry, I didn't know you meant those :) And thanks, that's great to hear!
Oh those! Okay, yeah I haven't done war yet, only level 102. Only been playing 3 days but I have to say this guide has been the single most helpful thing about the whole game I've found at all, I'm shamelessly copying the hotbars and everything else, and it's actually helping a ton, I'm able to solo stuff I wasn't able to before mixing up my stuff lol
Ahoy! Basically all the new buffs from transcender skill rank are a must have. Sharp instinct (hope I remember the name right) is an amazing short buff for damage output, that new heal skills basically heals your own character to max HP without any casting time, so it serves as an amazing last second heal, and spirit walk is useful for passing through dangerous areas amazingly quickly, but it's mostly best for escaping tight spots in Pvp as it makes you invulnerable but also unable to attack enemies. And force archer mastery is a passive skill that looks useless, but it gets amazing bonuses as you gain overlord levels. Did I leave anything out?
I am not sure on what may be left, but I do have another question. I do not pvp at all, (I hate pvp as a rule). Are there skills you listed as pvp, but still useful in PVe? Thank you in advance.@@1minuteCABALguides
Every skill you have is useful in PVE, except that attack skill with root effect at regular or expert rank, not sure exactly which and what its name is. Some attack skill with very low damage, 3 minutes cooltime and the crowd control effect is root+80% or so. Every other skill you have can be used in PVE
Nice video btw. keep it up. So in dungeon, i need to disregard Shooting Star skill in my combo. for luring mobs? like in Siena2 and FT2. but Arrow Barrage and Arrow Forest have both additional Accuracy +100 and the sonic shooter has none..
If you're using combo then you have infinite accuracy bonus anyway. But yes, I think shooting star should only be used against single bosses. However, for me comboing with lances usually has more DPS.
Drill shot is completely useless. Shadow shot wouldn't be bad, but it has the same casting time and area as the cannon skills of expert rank, but much lower damage than any of those, so it's possible to build a cannon combo without shadow shot.

I have been playing on the Steam server Atlas which is located in the US and i am from EU (300+ ping most of the time). Are Mars and Mercury both viable servers or are they dead already?
Mars isn't really, but Mercury is so full it's often hard to find a spot on channels in the evenings. Of course half of the non-premium channels are filled with bots, but still, it's far from dead.

Well, with your ping certainly 1 located in EU. If you like having people around, cheap items, and easier time selling stuff you farm, go to Mercury. If you prefer hunting event bosses, having fewer people in wars who can 1-hit you, then choose either of the other 3.
hey what about FA bm3 damage? i feel it very annoying for example when i solo a boss i have all the damage, but, when its vs 2 or more mobs (or players in mission war) you lost like 20% of total damage and only FA and the new class FG has this thing... u feel its okay or its a disadvantage compared to another BM3?
You should see it this way: you do not lose 20% damage, you gain 20% when you hit only one target. When focused on only one target the BM3 of FA is higher than the others, while in multi target it is equivalent or slightly lower.

You will never get the same gear and stats with all classes because they require different things to work well. That is why they are different. Some class will always have something that another does not have, like FA that has more natural CR than WI that in counterpart has more MATK than FA. The point I said about BM3 from FA "gets 20% more and does not lose 20% when there is more than one target" is not a question of DPS, Attack Ability or larger critical blue numbers on the screen but an explanation of how they work ALL skills with this feature. Although the game says that "damage is divided by the number of targets" what was verified and could be proven in the old Cabal damage formula (pre Rising Force) is that there was a damage multiplier for this case, ie a BONUS . And this bonus ceases to exist as there are more targets in the skill hit area. In other words, the so-called "20% damage" is a gain that happens when there is only one target, with two targets could be something like 10% and three or more 0% bonus. This is why the newest skills despite having greater attributes in their descriptions, still do less damage than skills with lower stats but with the "damage multiplier". You can observe this by comparing Shooting Star stats and Arrow Forest, where there is a clear advantage to the latter, though this does not reflect the damage done in a situation where there is only one target, again saying, because of an invisible bonus. This happens with all classes and skills that have this multiplier, including BM3 attacks.

Penetration potion is of course the best for every class, but magic amp and critical damage are also pretty useful. I personally used attack rate and def rate potions often because those 2 were quite low as WI.
Nothing yet... but judging by the fact that on Mercury FT2 and AoS2 are full on literally every channel and people are relogging more to find a spot in them than for hunting santas... I don't think 1 is needed :D

It has longer casting time and not that much more damage to be worth using in my opinion. If you're using lances only I think it's better to skip that one (mostly because of the casting time and comboing like a robot thing :D)
Ahoy! You will want to use fast skills, like lances for single or lined up targets, and skills with the biggest area hits for crowds. Those are the ones mentioned in the combo part at the end of the video!

As for accessories, I think you should aim for an amulet of pain with the most max crit rate you can afford, prideus or siena's bracelets for another 2% max rate (siena with penetration is the best for FB because of elemental enchant). Get vampiric earrings. Never underestimate the power of health steal! And as for rings, 1 ring with rate is enough. Ideally that's Tempus, but at your level I guess Merga ring or just RoL+2. Unless you're going for 60+ rate without rate in pet/bike/costume, you won't need another ring.

Well, the emphasis of the whole stat point allocation video is on how to discover how many stat points you need on what. Go open AH, search for the highest grade items you're planning to equip, and note those points. Merga ring is dropped by the chest of the last boss of Tower of the Dead B1F. Alternatively there's a quest at the alchemist in BI that is guaranteed to give you the ring afterr 25 runs.
Okey thanks so much! Is the Merga ring drop high percentage or not? How many tries would it take if you would guess? And is doing Tower of Undead B1F to earn ALZ cause of the cores? And if i do the quest wont it cost 99M alz to make the ring itself?
Well, it's varying... I got my ring after around 30 runs, but I know people who had done 300+ to get theirs before the ring was made sellable. I don't know how much it costs to craft it if you do the daily quest. And as for alz farming, LID may be better than EoD1 normally, because when I made that video Merga ring was 100kk+, but now it's like 15kk.
I'm using lances only for single target, shooting star as finisher, and poison arrow against high armor. For multiple targets, usually cannons, but I rarely engage groups.

No idea. Each is better at something. FA can heal for example, whereas FG only has 1 survival skill and it has too long CT. It depends on your playstyle.

Ahoy! Welcome back! Hope you won't regret it :D There are no new skills introduced since the creating of this video so I think it's still up to date. Only thing I'd like to note is that poison arrow no longer makes much sense, because they lowered the damage-over-time values in pvp.
No, a long time ago they added something like an immunity to any status effect while you're affected by one. So for example if you stun something for 4 seconds then you can keep hitting it with any stun/down/knockback skill but it won't extend its duration or replace it. Only the skills after that 4 seconds expire will have an effect, so if you're in their attack range they will hit you either way once after the effect is over before another one can be applied.
You will have plenty more by the time you reach the max level of transcender, so you can safely max every skill you learn and will still have some leftover points. That's the way cabal works :)
That's nearly impossible to compare, because different classes need different amounts of critical rate. For example a wizard would need to gain at least 30-40% rate from sources other than rings, whereas a FB can reach 70%+ rate with rings only. So that means the FB would be able to replace 3-4 slots of rate with amp for example. But if you disregard survival ability, and assume they all have like... really epic gear, then I think the highest overall damage belongs to wizard, highest PVP damage belongs to force blader and the highest singlet-target damage belongs to blader. And probably the highest possible damage with 1 hit is for gladiator.
Hey! I suddenly decided to start a new class. I got bored from my 139 GL lol. I want to try FA. Is it enjoyable to play? In what circumstances is it hard to handle? What skills should I use in PvP and PvE? Should I attract a lot of mobs before killing or should I just go one after another?
Ahoy! Well, it's not a bad choice considering how cheap it is. But defense is going to be a really big problem for you until you get your first +15 items. It's fun to play, just don't expect it to be the best in speed/tankiness, etc... the only thing it excels at is range, and support (healing, buffs, party synergies in BM3, luring...) It's always faster to attack as many as possible at a time, as long as you can handle them without dying. Even with the damage decrease in BM3, considering that it's around -20% damage, but if you're hitting 2 things it already pays off. As for the skills, that's what this video is for :)

What about Shadow Shot, Drill Shot before G. Master? Since you skipped those, I suppose they are not good?
Drill shot is completely useless. Shadow shot wouldn't be bad, but it has the same casting time and area as the cannon skills of expert rank, but much lower damage than any of those, so it's possible to build a cannon combo without shadow shot.

I suppose the same as the area of effect combo for monsters, if they are in a tight group. Otherwise you can only go for 1 at a time without BM.

Which server is the one with the most active player base? I have been playing on the Steam server Atlas which is located in the US and i am from EU (300+ ping most of the time).
Are Mars and Mercury both viable servers or are they dead already?
Mars isn't really, but Mercury is so full it's often hard to find a spot on channels in the evenings. Of course half of the non-premium channels are filled with bots, but still, it's far from dead.

Well, with your ping certainly 1 located in EU. If you like having people around, cheap items, and easier time selling stuff you farm, go to Mercury. If you prefer hunting event bosses, having fewer people in wars who can 1-hit you, then choose either of the other 3.
hey what about FA bm3 damage? i feel it very annoying for example when i solo a boss i have all the damage, but, when its vs 2 or more mobs (or players in mission war) you lost like 20% of total damage and only FA and the new class FG has this thing... u feel its okay or its a disadvantage compared to another BM3?
BL also has that annoying thing. And it's the thing I hate the most about FA. I'll mention that in my next video about FA battle modes!
You should see it this way: you do not lose 20% damage, you gain 20% when you hit only one target. When focused on only one target the BM3 of FA is higher than the others, while in multi target it is equivalent or slightly lower.
That's also true, since the "base damage" is applied when hitting multiple things. However, compared to WI I still think FA's damage sucks :D

You will never get the same gear and stats with all classes because they require different things to work well. That is why they are different. Some class will always have something that another does not have, like FA that has more natural CR than WI that in counterpart has more MATK than FA. The point I said about BM3 from FA "gets 20% more and does not lose 20% when there is more than one target" is not a question of DPS, Attack Ability or larger critical blue numbers on the screen but an explanation of how they work ALL skills with this feature. Although the game says that "damage is divided by the number of targets" what was verified and could be proven in the old Cabal damage formula (pre Rising Force) is that there was a damage multiplier for this case, ie a BONUS . And this bonus ceases to exist as there are more targets in the skill hit area. In other words, the so-called "20% damage" is a gain that happens when there is only one target, with two targets could be something like 10% and three or more 0% bonus. This is why the newest skills despite having greater attributes in their descriptions, still do less damage than skills with lower stats but with the "damage multiplier". You can observe this by comparing Shooting Star stats and Arrow Forest, where there is a clear advantage to the latter, though this does not reflect the damage done in a situation where there is only one target, again saying, because of an invisible bonus. This happens with all classes and skills that have this multiplier, including BM3 attacks.

For WI, you won't need movement speed potions or elixirs that's for sure because of blink. Penetration potion is of course the best for every class, but magic amp and critical damage are also pretty useful. I personally used attack rate and def rate potions often because those 2 were quite low as WI.

It has longer casting time and not that much more damage to be worth using in my opinion. If you're using lances only I think it's better to skip that one (mostly because of the casting time and comboing like a robot thing :D)

I've never played FB so can't really give you any tips unfortunately. As for accessories, I think you should aim for an amulet of pain with the most max crit rate you can afford, prideus or siena's bracelets for another 2% max rate (siena with penetration is the best for FB because of elemental enchant).
Get vampiric earrings. Never underestimate the power of health steal!
And as for rings, 1 ring with rate is enough. Ideally that's Tempus, but at your level I guess Merga ring or just RoL+2. Unless you're going for 60+ rate without rate in pet/bike/costume, you won't need another ring.

Well, the emphasis of the whole stat point allocation video is on how to discover how many stat points you need on what. Go open AH, search for the highest grade items you're planning to equip, and note those points.
Merga ring is dropped by the chest of the last boss of Tower of the Dead B1F. Alternatively there's a quest at the alchemist in BI that is guaranteed to give you the ring afterr 25 runs.

Well, it's varying... I got my ring after around 30 runs, but I know people who had done 300+ to get theirs before the ring was made sellable. I don't know how much it costs to craft it if you do the daily quest.
And as for alz farming, LID may be better than EoD1 normally, because when I made that video Merga ring was 100kk+, but now it's like 15kk.

I'm using lances only for single target, shooting star as finisher, and poison arrow against high armor. For multiple targets, usually cannons, but I rarely engage groups.

Yes there is a little X icon next to every passive skill that you need to press to delete it. First it must be untrained level by level until 1.

No idea. Each is better at something. FA can heal for example, whereas FG only has 1 survival skill and it has too long CT. It depends on your playstyle.

Only thing I'd like to note is that poison arrow no longer makes much sense, because they lowered the damage-over-time values in pvp.

As far as I know yes. But it doesn't make much sense.

As i recall from older days, gravity skill was used to stun lock combo for pve. Isnt that viable anymore?
No, a long time ago they added something like an immunity to any status effect while you're affected by one. So for example if you stun something for 4 seconds then you can keep hitting it with any stun/down/knockback skill but it won't extend its duration or replace it. Only the skills after that 4 seconds expire will have an effect, so if you're in their attack range they will hit you either way once after the effect is over before another one can be applied.

You will have plenty more by the time you reach the max level of transcender, so you can safely max every skill you learn and will still have some leftover points. That's the way cabal works :)
Highest damage class ? Same gear who is the best
That's nearly impossible to compare, because different classes need different amounts of critical rate. For example a wizard would need to gain at least 30-40% rate from sources other than rings, whereas a FB can reach 70%+ rate with rings only. So that means the FB would be able to replace 3-4 slots of rate with amp for example.
But if you disregard survival ability, and assume they all have like... really epic gear, then I think the highest overall damage belongs to wizard, highest PVP damage belongs to force blader and the highest singlet-target damage belongs to blader. And probably the highest possible damage with 1 hit is for gladiator.

Hey! I suddenly decided to start a new class. I got bored from my 139 GL lol. I want to try FA. Is it enjoyable to play? In what circumstances is it hard to handle? What skills should I use in PvP and PvE? Should I attract a lot of mobs before killing or should I just go one after another?
Ahoy! Well, it's not a bad choice considering how cheap it is. But defense is going to be a really big problem for you until you get your first +15 items. It's fun to play, just don't expect it to be the best in speed/tankiness, etc... the only thing it excels at is range, and support (healing, buffs, party synergies in BM3, luring...)
It's always faster to attack as many as possible at a time, as long as you can handle them without dying. Even with the damage decrease in BM3, considering that it's around -20% damage, but if you're hitting 2 things it already pays off.
