I remember watching his UA-cam channel when he filmed himself recording the Darkness in a Different Light album. It completely inspired me on some of the music I was writing at the time and how to accent drum pieces.
I saw them the day before, near Detroit. I had a ticket for Theocracy on the 24th at Reggie's, and after the FW show I drove home and couldn't sleep. At All. No way was i driving to Chicago (2 1/2 hour one-way) on no sleep :(
