I just had some friends come back from Italy and they complained that it was packed with Americans, as well as being hot. If I want heat and Americans, I can stay home! As for the other tips, I knew about the VAT but not the sales nor Vallee Village. I would drive there, as I usually rent a car when I am in Europe. Thank you!
Thank you Liz the winter sales start after christmas for 4 weeks long. There are usually great deals, adding the Valle Village discounted prices and VAT there are way to save money. I did Valle Village a few years ago during the sales and I bought Loro Piana, Tods, Moncler.

La Vallee is such a fun day out ❤ my sister who lives in Geneva permanently has taken me there a few times when I visit her from Australia. We spend a long weekend in Paris together just her & I. 🙏

Nothing is made for la vallée village …. Very different compared to the US because in France we don’t have the outlet culture. Flagship stores send their unsold collection which they update every 3 months
I have seen Burberry trench coats made in China, with a high percentage of polyester, that were sold in La Vallee. Maybe I am wrong, but I don’t think the boutiques in London or Zurich have ever sold them. I assume that there are some items, that are made for the outlets. With Tod‘s and Ralph Lauren I have always seen the good quality clothes.
