I recently found some of my undeveloped film from the late 80s and 90s. Here I tell a brief story behind this photo of Ronnie James Dio and Jeff Pilson at the Fern Park Station near Orlando Florida. In 1994, The Station was the place to see great hard rock and heavy metal bands.

Ronnie James was so deep as an artist but some of his last performances showed a lighter side of the man. Nice guy they say. A huge loss!!! I loved his voice. Rainbow In The Dark and Holy Diver my favorites.

Burch : Pilson literally added vocals and keyboards for a song that a buddy of mine wrote to raise money for an autistic boy who’s mother was going through tough times financially…Pilson is such an awesome guy with a big heart
