The scene where he sells papads wrapped in the admission letter and its burns in front of his eyes, is very emotional..very impactful scene..and the music is like cherry on the cake....
I watched this movie in theater and literally cried in the scene...

Loved this movie on many levels. All the actors did a brilliant job, sure. I'm also glad that more movies are being based on real people, each with their own struggles. Hopefully, some good comes out of this trend. For one, perhaps teachers - at least those working in government schools - are paid their fair share.

This movie is fantastic but I hate how unaware we've made the whole Arjun story. Eklavya was the son of the army chief who would fight against the adharmis or the corrupted ones, this is why Dhornachaya did it knowing well in history he'll be named as a bad person. Anyhow, its true education is a very bad business in India. Many worthy students are suffering due to various reasons and we need teachers who care about students and not money.

Another aspect of this story which people miss is that Eklavya made an idol of Dronacharya and used to meditate upon it. In this way, he started gaining the qualities of Dronacharya into him and hence became an exceptional archer. This teaches us that if we meditate upon a saint guru, all his qualities (good + bad ) will start coming into us. So we should avoid those gurus who have prominent bad qualities in them even if they are advanced.
