For me this was my first and most favourite mmo of all time. The soundtrack is also no 1 in my list and will be forever. Thank you distant realms for a bringing back some lovely memories of this great game
same :)
I haven't played since 2012 but I just installed after hearing this again!
Time to make a new hobbit burglar!
@randalthor6872 welcome back...hope you stay awhile
It is still there and you can play for free❤
😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤
Gone are the days of our Epic composer... Sir Chance Thomas.
Thanks for this. Never played Lotro but those musics are really good.
Every time i play again or remember this game in any ways, i feel so lucky that the mmorpg i picked as a kid was made with lots of love and passion, and not purely a cash grab.
Maybe it never became a cash grab because it was a small niche success. At the end it was probably better for it.
Very fond memories. Had a bad day at work? Log on, harvest some onions, bake a mushroom pie. Enjoy the sunset over the hill.
Probably 14 years ago I was in the Ettenmoors, chilling in Elf Camp as a lvl 50 Champion. They'd just released the update where trolls were playable in PvMP. Out of nowhere a troll and a gang of orcs burst into the camp and right on cue the soundtrack changed to this epic battle tune with a bagpipe. We fought them for like15 minutes. I can't remember if we won, but I remember the fear and the soundtrack. Legend. Thanks LOTRO.
14 years ago I was 5 years old, probably 4 when you were playing 😅I must be one of the youngest Lotro players
@hazbojangles2681 You're in good company! I'm 32 now. First started following LOTRO pre-release (fun fact: it was originally called Middle Earth Online) when I was 12 :)
@ wow didn’t know that. Have you played Echoes of Angmar? A friend introduced me to it. It’s very fun playing the original game. It’s so much more difficult!
@hazbojangles2681 No! But just looked it up, so cool. I might give it a look. Original SoA was a lot of fun and WAY more difficult and slow. I'm not sure I'll have the time to make any meaningful headway in it but I'll definitely try it out for fun. One of the good things about current LoTRO is I can be super casual and still progress up to 50 as a reasonable rate haha...I;m even in a Kinship designated for people who are just slowly meandering through Middle Earth
Man the memories of mining for 10 hours straight on areas too dangerous for my underleveled girl hobbit thief to craft me some sweet gear are all rushing in my brain again. Loved this game lmao.
Those memories are the best. I once accidentally fell off a cliff, didn't die, but fell at the end of a spider infested area, all some 10 lvls higher than my humble elf hunter. Had to use the best of my stealth and running-like-hell skills to come out alive.
I haven't played this game in years but listening to this music reminded me of the great game it is. I will be installing it soon and start a new character so that I can experience the Shire, Ered Luin, Lone Lands and Bree all over again!. Thanks for posting... such good memories.
Celondim is such a nice relaxing place. Everytime I go there it feel like I'm going home for some reason. Strangealy enough if I had to pick anywhere to live in middle earth it would be here. left a like.
Thank you for putting this video together. I used to play lotro back in 2012 as a big LOTR fan and it actually was quite a journey back in a days. A true nostalgia

Thank you for this. My favorite game of all time 😊
2:15 "Heart of a Hero" by Chance Thomas. It's so good.
Beautiful channel! Thank you so much for your work, these compilations are perfect for painting and creating.
Thank you
Unending gratitude for stumbling upon this extraordinary relaxing channel. It has become my personal oasis, granting me the peace and serenity I crave. The exceptional quality of your content is immensely valued. Thank you wholeheartedly!
I'm so glad that War of the Ring (2003) is living in music here.
So beautiful and relaxing...thank you so much. Lotro is such a vibe!
I've never played this game and now I regret. Amazing music and video!
it's still online :) give it a go!
It's still going strong and about to get yet another massive expansion : )
I only found this out after now playing since 2012. I'm about to get back in. See you there :)
It’s still there! You should try it out if you haven’t yet. The game now includes every part of Middle-earth that was in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (except Emyn Muil and the Grey Havens) as well as many, many more areas-like Evendim, Forochel, Dunland, Rohan beyond just Edoras and Helm’s Deep, Gondor beyond just Minas Tirith, Gundabad, Umbar, and more. You can easily get years of playing out of this game as it is now, and it’s only getting bigger.
Thanks for this, I played a little some year ago, i had never gone far in the game, but this game has a very good and immersive atmosphere! and the Tom Bombadil Theme is just awesome!
INSTASUBBED! Thanks for this. I hadn't played this game in years but I just found out it's still going strong. All thanks to stumbling on your vid!
Lotro memories for ever
Nice!
