Great update! Thanks for sharing! A couple of FYI notes however... I believe the Berserkers are human and sort of an alternative to the Barbarian, just as the Explorer is an alternative Dwarf. Also in discussing the "Choose Your Own Adventure" mechanic, there are in fact, THREE DIFFERENT CONCLUSIONS depending on which path the heroes take.
I appreciate the corrections! Perhaps I should have looked at a few more videos diving into the details, since Hasbro's instructions website still doesn't have the quest book there. And with the branching quests, I think I was just remembering things a little backwards. Though to be fair, there was confusion in the community about the branching quest structure when it came out.
welcome back! a few things from the actual Dwarf quest pack has trickled into this and First Light. I still hope we'll see more of that come out someday, whether officially or another way! some great shout outs in this vid
While I got a few things in this video incorrect, I'm glad to find out that I wasn't being entirely untruthful with the thumbnail and hook of this video! More content executed well (like RotDM and this one) is not a bad thing at all
The Berserker isn’t a dwarf, which makes the focus of the video feel a bit off. It’s strange to create content about an expansion that many of us already have, but you don’t. Especially when other UA-camrs have covered it in much greater detail.
The best thing about HeroQuest is… more HeroQuest! I appreciate all of the material UA-cam content creators bring to us about the best game ever made! :-)
@@GamersQuestTV while I generally agree, this video would have been a better speculation video about 5 months ago. There are a handful of really great UA-camr's who create excellent Heroquest videos. However outside of that everyone seems to keep making outdated unboxing or reviews that don't add much to the conversation.
You are correct that I made a mistake with the berserker, and I have since pinned a comment pointing out where I was wrong. However, based upon Kurgan's/HeroquestFans's comment, I am not entirely wrong about the old dwarf quest pack's influence on Jungles of Delthrak; the focus of the video still works. You have a valid criticism about creating a video on Jungles of Delthrak this late and not even looking at the actual product, and I was wondering when I might get a comment like this. To that, I have to say that I created this video more for myself than for the wider community. I have had this video on my To-Do list, haunting me for months. I feel much better knowing that I completed that task, unlike the million other things in my life that I have to do. I hope that soon I can catch up with where the news actually is, so that I can create content that people find actually valuable and that's breaking new ground (instead of repeating what others said 4 months ago). But the great thing about platforms like UA-cam is that you choose what content you engage with. If you want to ignore my videos or select that you aren't interested, you have that option. My content isn't for everybody, and that's okay. I'm also thrilled that there are people like AshQuest and Always Board Never Boring who always cover things quickly and in great detail, because there was a period of time (in 2020 when the crowdfunding campaign began) where very few people were covering HeroQuest news on UA-cam.
@@Sirdeathvids I appreciate your comment and content. I guess my comment is a plea of sorts for you to not go that direction. I honestly really like your videos and was initially excited to watch it. I'm sticking around because over all I like your Heroquest content.

Great commentary! I would have loved to see the Dwarf expansion that was never released.
Maybe we will see it someday...

Recently got the dice & matt so I wouldn't miss out. Still need the expansion but it's on the Christmas list 🤞
It definitely looks like an expansion that's worth picking up
