Ignis is far better than Calerio, Ignis also scored 3 star in crash test and very similar pricing and much better packaging because of the presence of 4 cylinder engine.

I have a 2016 Celerio and it has given no problems at all, its really good for metro cities where the traffic is way too much.

Thank you for your review sir. This car has just arrived here in South Africa and you make very good points for potential new buyers. Price and rear passenger safety are clearly issues. Also, Maruti Suzuki Swift is not so much more expensive than new Celerio here and so is obviously the better car!
Rear window adjust is placed on center because Suzuki really thinks that we use fingers of the foot not hands to control rear window.. 😂

What car has the hill hold and amt at lowest price? Reverse camera and sensors would be nice addition. Asking for someone who is low on driving skills and budget and wants to drive around without having to hire taxi
I guess Wagon R is the cheapest car to offer hill hold assist feature.

Wondering who designed the interiors, control switches are scattered everywhere in very unusual spaces. Maruti ran a drawing competition for kids and picked the interior design. Guess kids can do better

Celerio is an international model and it is currently the best city car to buy. Sporty looks, 170 mm ground clearance, high speed stability all missing in Wagon R. It is wider and longer than Wagon R, which you feel as its engine bay is much more bigger than Wagon R. Also engine is mounted in a new way. It will definitely be more safer than Wagon R.
And also more Powerful ac in celerio and great stability in road ,

With ABS EBD , stability control system there are many features.. wagon R and other car engines are not as refined as celerio that is why is costly . Please open the engine bay and check you will see everything different altogether overall it does its job well..

The earlier Celerio was way better in comfort, looks & practicality. This one looks small and boxy.

Our family recently purchased anew car and our preferred choice was the Celerio X but after they annouced the new facelift, we were quick to change our minds. The design is really ugly imo and I think MS would lose customers just for the design

What Maruti did is they made Celerio a real hatchback and with S presso already having a tall boyish design they might have thought to change the overall design language and make it look like a big brother of Alto rather than Wagon R..The engine is good..But the cheap build quality and usual maruti cost cutting efforts are making this car worthless for the money they are asking..Better to buy a Swift or Ignis than this..

Tiago is better than Celerio. If you want a hatchback car in a price range of atleast 6 lakhs then I would suggest you to go for the Tiago. It offers 4-Star safety rating along with more features than the Celerio. I myself am a Tiago owner and I am very happy with it.

We get Tata Tigor petrol top variant and Honda Amaze mid variant at 7.5lakhs ex showroom with good performance and mileage. They both are great beginner cars , safe and easy to maintain for sure over celerio.

@@ArchitTechBOYKaushik No I am not crazy I just like the Tigor more than Tiago hence I am willing to spend the money for extra space (50mm longer wheelbase in Tigor)and features over Tiago . It's more practical than Tiago even with a CNG. The sales for Tigor has increased because of it immensely , sure its less than Tiago but its atleast leading in sales alongside Dzire . Its the 2nd highest selling sedan in the country now due to the CNG variant launch in 2022.
