I am at a crossroad in my life.
    challenges in new territories.
age related. financially. weakness of motivation.
many people we have known do not make 70 years.
the issue is a personal one. lifestyle. allowing negativities to intrude our phycological health
    affecting our mind/ body.
time seems to race by the older we become.
time left time spent wasted distracted on superficialities
it is up to every person to fulfill their lives. no one can do for us what we must do for ourselves.
these songs by Naochika are coming to me as individual gifts.
    each song a gift.
thank you for being nothing less than a conduit to hope, reflection, new insights, connections,
lighten my load, for me to see what is behind the numerous seemingly obstacles that once confronted are illusionary.
you friend are being woven into my being of wonderments I’ve recognized over the decades of my life.
now at sixty eight years of totally awe.
    george fleet jr.

to mark. thank you for your comment and advice.
i disagree that we are at a crossroad everyday of our lives.
that is not my definition of a crossroad.
crossroads occur when life changing confrontations with self suddenly put one in unknown territory. forcing one to go into the depths of our souls and realize
as they say one door closes and one opens.
as jesus has always been consciously in my heart.
that has been a constant except for a few times i was cast into the darkness of the whales belly as jonah, cut off from the light of good,
a necessary teaching a hard lesson to see how you got there and how to get out.
i carry jesus his wisdom inside of me whereas i don’t follow man’s imperfect nature.
i am not a follower but i lead myself.
      no training wheels.
i don’t need a physical church or ask a pastors advice.
all my answers are already residing in me through a holy spirit.
      ask and you will recieve.
      be well,
      again thank you,
      george

      of living true to oneself.

everyday is a gift of wonderment given to us from our creator.

Many people ask me, what kind of oud I play.
My oud is an ordinary one which you can buy at many music stores.
The difference in sound comes from my playing technique.
A good instrument alone brings only a bit more beautiful sound. Only hard work creates extraordinary sound.
My playing technique is based on very old methods from other times - 400 years ago, or even 1000 years ago.

you are such a reflection of hard work passion of a power beyond mere words that is your purpose
to bring a light a beacon enchantment a child’s imagination that never leaves each one of us. often hides in the shadows from fear of not being understood
gratitude to you to the powers of the universe to the stardust that comprises each one of us biologically. we are all part of something much larger than our comprehension. your intensities are as mysterious to you as it is to us.
what man cannot explain man will try to ignore.
only our spiritual selfs will say “ i am at home.”
and your gifts to us is just that delving into the mysteries with a sense of ‘being home.’

    • @georgefleet6350
      @georgefleet6350 4 місяці тому

Yes and your dedication to the sounds we hear stand out over other oud musicians with a uniqueness. Individuated is a goal of like minded people that
recognize your discipline with their own purpose in life.( perhaps this time around)
With any musical instrument the musician can be part magician part mesmerists.
Your sound comes from deep within connecting to those people that are blessed enough to their own depth within. As these comments they offer reflect and thanking you. It truly is a community.
I recognize a humbleness that you express without need of flattery that is ego based.
But recognition and validation from others that can also travel within their own imaginations is quite the accomplishment and takes hard work over many decades of their own lives.
Just as the Phoenix rises from the ashes we also rise from our own ashes multiple times in just one lifetime to soar to new freedoms.
We recognize this from your music separating it from anyone other than yourself for we each have our own music.
      Thank you,
      George Fleet

Beautiful ❤️ Thank you for shining your soul✨ We are all actors on the world stage. Many want to show their soul but due to the pain of life must protect themselves and show only the actor. Those of us who do show are souls endure the hatred and pain of life, we refuse to be the actor. This world is not what people have been conditioned to believe. It is a construct,a matrix, a false reality, a prison for our minds and soul.
Don't let the jailers win, shine your light! Don't be the actor ❤

Enveloped in the exquisite melodies, one finds oneself drawn into a timeless journey, where every note resonates with the essence of the Middle Eastern palate. The music, imbued with the delicate and sweet spirit of Sufism, transcends mere auditory pleasure; it becomes a portal to a realm where the soul reigns supreme, far removed from the confines of our materialistic existence. Hours pass effortlessly, as the listener is elevated to the ethereal realms of pure transcendence...Thank you Nao.

Hi 👋, Nao, I am new to your music room, thank you for sharing your music 🎶 with as all, I can not play any instrument, though I have tried,
A few years ago I purchased a Lute , from a auction room, I believe that somebody had made it, it has a plastic back to it. It’s obviously a cheap copy, it is missing the fret work in the voice opening, I am hoping to finish putting it together in the next few, as I said a strings, I believe has never been finished, I have restored a lot of electric guitars, mainly to keep myself busy, I think it is a age related thing, as I am retired, I am listening to your music, on my recently rebuilt transmission line, loudspeaker cabinets, 150w , NAD . i’ve built my loudspeaker cabinets myself, approximately 30 odd years ago,
Thank you for uploading your music , I am looking forward to listening to some more, Phil from the moulin France.

The beautiful oud music is healing for the soul. Oud is not part of Arab culture, simply because the only place of which can be said it truly has Arab culture is the Arabian Peninsula. Oud's origins stretch to non-Arab Mesopotamia (=the ancient city of Babylon in modern Iraq). Many Arabic-speaking people have come to believe they are Arabs, with an Arab culture, part of an Arab world, just because they adopted the Arabic language when the Hejaz Muslim conquerers started to spread Islam after 632 AD. Speaking Arabic does not make you genetically Arab, just like speaking English does not make you British nowadays when English is the world's lingua franca. There are Arabic-speaking countries outside the Arabian Peninsula with various cultures and the oud instrument existed already before the development of the Arabic language which is quite young in comparison to Sumerian, Akkadian, Aramean and Assyrian, the languages of ancient Sumeria/Akkadia/Mesopotamia and ancient Egyptian.

𝕺𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖚𝖕𝖔𝖓 𝖆 𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊, in the ancient land of Mesopotamia 🏛️, the oud 🎵, a beautiful musical instrument 🪕, was born. Its origins can be traced back to the city of Babylon 🌆, where skilled craftsmen crafted its rounded back and flat wooden soundboard 🪢. The oud's enchanting melodies 🎶 resonated through the streets, captivating the hearts ❤️ of those who heard its soulful tunes.
As time passed ⏳, the oud found its way into the hands ✋ of musicians 🎻 across different cultures and regions. It journeyed through the lands of Sumeria 🌾, Akkadia 🏺, Aramean 🏛️, and Assyria 🏰, where it became an integral part of their musical traditions 🎵. The oud's influence spread far and wide, transcending language barriers 🗣️ and cultural boundaries 🌍.
In the 7th century AD, a significant event occurred that would shape the future of the oud and the Arabic language 🕌. The Hejaz Muslim conquerors 🗡️ began spreading Islam ☪️, and with it, the Arabic language 📜, across the region. Arabic became the lingua franca 🌐, connecting diverse communities and fostering cultural exchange 🤝.
With the spread of the Arabic language 🗣️, the oud found a new home 🏡 in the hearts ❤️ of Arabic-speaking people. It became deeply intertwined with Arabic music 🎵, becoming the king 👑 of instruments in the Arab world 🌍. The oud's unique sound 🔊 and expressive capabilities perfectly complemented the poetic nature 📖 of the Arabic language, creating a harmonious union of music and words 🎶📜.
However, it is essential to recognize that Arabic-speaking countries outside the Arabian Peninsula have their own distinct cultures and traditions 🏞️. The oud's presence in these regions is a testament to the instrument's versatility and adaptability to different musical styles and cultures 🌍🎵.
Today, the oud continues to captivate audiences worldwide 🌎, transcending cultural and linguistic boundaries 🌐. Its historical significance as a symbol of cultural exchange 🤝 and its ability to evoke deep emotions through its melodies 🎶 make it a cherished instrument in the world of music 🪕🎵.

but the Arabic J gene is the most dominant, and most of the people of old Mesopotamia were originally from the Arabic peninsula, due to changes in climate they immigrated to the north of Arabia, both the levant and Iraq, and this was more than 5000 years ago and it was done with waves almost every thousand years, Arabia was not this scorching desert that it is now, even in the early days of Islam it had a large amount of desert but a lush savanna with lions and large prey living in the peninsula, hunting lions was considered a courageous act since they gathered in good numbers in certain areas and were very hard to kill

Absolutely beyond the realm of the physical. This music is always very spiritual moving. Beautiful instrument .... 12 strings of 11 strings. certainly must take years to perfect. Long Tapered fingers certainly helps. Beautiful hands play this beautiful instrument.
